| all posts are fussing at voters. I've given 4 tens and nothing below a 7...you can't ALL be getting hammered. There are some REALLY great shots in challenge. Good luck to you all...guess everyone I scored is asleep...hmmmm |

Probably one of my clearest shots ever is getting me a low 4 :( I can understand not being in the hunt for a ribbon, but it isn't that bad is it?
Oh well looks like I have to come up with some sort of BW or ConC.
Nice images in there though. I really liked some of them. I think DPC should be getting some sort of commision on all the gold paint that was sold this week. |

Honestly, I'm easy to please in this challenge. Even within the element, there are different shades. Pink gold, white gold, etc. And how many times have you heard a blonde referred to as golden-haired?

You have no idea how upset I am about the current voting on my shot...I really thingt it would be a top 10...it started at 6, went to 6.5 and I thought it would climb...now, it nosedived

What I thought would be one of my best is turning out to be one of my worse, and I didn't think it deserved it...
My beach shot is doing spectacularly well on the other hand and is at 6.3 which I think is wrong...THAT shot should be around 5.2. The goldshot should be in the 6's!!!! aaaaarrggghhhh!!!!

Did you actually shoot something gold Rikki? This is gonna be like the chrome challenge where people couldn't tell the difference between chrome and stainless steel. The challenge didn't say yellow or metaphorical gold, it said find something GOLD. My personal feeling is if aint gold it aint gonna score well from me. Don't go crying if ya get a 2. |
Gold is an element, and gold is a color. The challenge description doesn't specify which, so be careful with such narrow interpretations. I don't normally step into these arguments, but something in there bothered me. |
