I have the "Great Job!" too. While I do like that comment, I love this one that I received from one of your fellow posters, who's happy to hand out a 10 for a picture of McDonalds.

Now it makes sense. You get 10 points for "Meets Challenge" and 0 for everything else, and your total is 10. That's fantastic. DPChallenge needs more scoring like this.

| Oh, apparently this scoring method is old news. The 0 to 2 thing makes a lot more sense. |

I think I kind of know who will get the blue ribbon...
Very "obvious"... I gave 10... I won't tell which one now, but I believe most of you will love the shot (not mine unfortunately)...

| Okay..back to my question. How do I remove my photo from the challenge. I'm sure I violated a rule and I don't need the DNMC bringing my vote average down (it's already low enough)...and I really don't want a brown ribbon in this challenge. |

Two things I have learned.
1. Scores don't matter comments do.. The comments lift me up and prove that I have touched someone enough to make them comment.
I got a comment on perspective challenge that just made me glow, because I respect the persons work so much and he took the time to tell me he liked my work. That's a blue right there.
2. Getting picked as a favorite, now that is huge even if the score isn't..
I was up and now I am down again.. I don't care.. I am someones favorite..

LoL yeah I'm at 4.56 and I feel so bad for my WPL team. but last challenge(abstract food) only four people on my team participated so even my measly 5.1 score was better than the 0.000 they'd have taken without me. so think of it that way. Youre 4.3235 is better than 0 and if there are more than 4 subissions above 4.3 than your 4.3 wont even count. better to try and fail than to not have tried at all. Atleast in this case. lol :) |

Its really funny. I thought and thought about the Line challenge and came up with what I thought was a good idea and would score high.
Now with the Gold challenge, I thought about it for maybe 10 minutes, took the photo, edited it and entered it. Did it all in about 45 minutes.
Here's the funny part, the one that I didn't think long on is doing pretty well. Better than the one for the line challenge. I guess from here on out, I'm just going to stop thinking. LOL!!!

But I didn't fail. I took an image I really like. The voters failed to understand it but that's not my problem. :)
In another way I also succeeded. I was able to sumbit an image I KNEW would totally bomb and DID NOT CARE. Yeehaa!!! I no longer have the fear of the sub 5 score!!!! |
