If I could vote in the negatives...

Just kidding.

But seriously, does anyone know where I can find an Armadillo?

Actually, it *IS* a noun as well as an adjective. Depends on usage.

"Look at that abstract." is perfectly acceptable and the noun of the sentence *IS* "abstract".

You could get picky and claim "painting" or "art" or "photograph" is ASSUMED in the sentence, but then you'd have to say "Man" is not a noun because you can reduce it to the assumed "Person" which could then be reduced to "Living Entity" etc...

LOL! I'll have you know that I've taken a shot for this challenge and it's NOT an amphibian. :D

But, I'd love to see lots of amphibian shots in the challenge. I LOVE frogs and toads. :D

Since the rules don't tell it should be in English, would I have a low score if entering a word in Portuguese?
I have some in mind:
Amor = Love
Ãgua = Water
Abelha = Bee

and much more...

It could be a 'Where you live' challenge.

A is for Australia
A is for America
A is for Africa
A is for Asia
A is for Antarctica

Sorry, Europeans, but you could do Amsterdam.

somebody will certainly do "A is for Apps" to show off their shiny new iPad
05/04/2010 08:54:08 PM · #99
Not a bad idea, Lev! :-)

It will be interesting to note the separation between high concept and shoehorn in this challenge. "A" nouns may rule, but "A" adjectives could be just as valid. The difference for me may be whether the concept is conveyed by the photo or whether it is title-dependent.
