"The spiders are making me tap dance! I don't want to dance!" Ron Weasley in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! modnar!

Finding Nemo does have some great lines.

"Dory, that's a shark."
"Your father...YOUR FATHER!!!"
"mine! mine! mine!"

But some of my other faves:
"Kill him a lot!" - Buffy the Vampire Slayer (movie)
"Capt. Steven Hiller: This was supposed to be my weekend off, but no. You got me out here dragging your heavy ass through the desert, with your dreadlocks sticking out the back of my parachute. You got to come down here with an attitude, acting all big and bad. And, what the Hell is that smell?!" - Independence Day
"You know what the difference is between you and me? I make this look good." - Men in Black
"You're insane!" "I thought I was Pisces?" - Batman

"This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time." - Fight Club

And the all time best movie quote? Anything from American Beauty.

"It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I knew there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember... and I need to remember... Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in."

Be not afraid of greatness.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness,
and some have greatness thrust upon 'em.

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum"

It takes nothing to dream
very little to think.

It's harder to act,
but to act with consideration, this!
is most difficult.

I apologize that this is so lengthy... these were culled from a list of some of my favorite quotes... the full list runs 85 pages.

Some of these are famous people, a few are people I know....

Open your eyes, open your hands, open your mind and enjoy the experience--no matter what it is.
-L. Marea Weber

In this time and age, people are prepared to rid themselves of anything which they see as dangerous. They do not even have to have the true facts before they leap at a hasty conclusion. In certain instances, the conclusion can be devastating.
-L. Marea Weber

Wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair and all the terrible things that happened to us come because we actually deserve them?
-From Babylon 5

I keep my ideals, because in spite of everything I still believe people are really good at heart.
-Anne Frank, Diary of a Young Girl

Imagination is more important than information
-Albert Einstein

I have a theory that the only original things we ever do are mistakes.
-Billy Joel, quoted by Bill DeMain in The Performing Songwriter

Yearn to understand first and to be understood second.
-Beca Lewis Allen in A Woman's ABC's Of Life

There is an Indian belief that everyone is a house of four rooms: a physical, a mental, an emotional, and a spiritual room. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time, but unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not complete.
-Rumer Godden

Uncertainty is the normal state. You’re nobody special.
-Ton Stoppard in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

You have to laugh at yourself because you’d cry your eyes out if you didn’t.
-Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls (from 1200 Curfews)

Good things come to those who wait. Better things come to those who don’t.
-Sekou Sundiata, Philosophy of the Cool, from The Blue Oneness of Dreams

When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.
-William Arthur Ward

There is little room for wisdom when one is full of judgment.
-Malcolm Hein

Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength.
-Eric Hoffer

You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view.
-Harper Lee, To Kill A Mockingbird

Listening, not imitation, may be the sincerest form of flattery.
-Dr. Joyce Brothers

The only people you can take for granted are those you can afford to lose.
-Ariana Waynes

You can learn a lot from people who view the world differently than you do.
-Anthony J. D’Angelo

It has often been said: “If you give them enough rope, they’ll hang themselves.” But why should they? Maybe they’ll create an unbelievably elegant arrangement of rope; an impossibly monumental construction of coiled vision which could only be classified as rope sculpture, stretching a timeless strand of understanding between us and posterity.
-Crosley Bendix, from the liner notes to Negativland, Escape From Noise

A person's mind stretched to a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions.
-Oliver Wendall Holmes

It’s all trivial — your grouse, my hermit, Bernard’s Byron. Comparing what we’re looking for misses the point. It’s wanting to know that makes us matter. Otherwise we’re going out the way we came in. That’s why you can’t believe in the afterlife, Valentine. Believe in the after, by all means, but not in the life. Believe in God, the soul, the spirit, the infinite, believe in angels if you like, but not in the great celestial get-together for an exchange of views. If the answers are in the back of the book I can wait, but what a drag. Better to struggle on knowing that failure is final.
-Tom Stoppard, Arcadia

Everything is impossible, until it's not.
-from Star Trek

Blessed is the man who, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact.
-George Eliot

The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.
-Socrates

When the country goes temporarily to the dogs, cats must learn to be circumspect, walk on fences, sleep in trees and have faith that all this woofing is not the last word. Hang on, another chapter follows.
-Garrison Keillor

It’s a weird world. Be yourself at all times.
-Jann Arden, from the liner notes to Living Under June

A timeless classic, from a classic flick (perfect Rowdy Roddy Piper vehicle if ever there was one). :-)

Nearly everybody talks, many can read and write, and some listen.

Some good quotes here, I have many favourites.

Can anyone guess where the quote in my signature comes from?

For movie quotes, it just doesn't get any better than, "These go to 11," from Spinal Tap.

I also like Abraham Lincoln's reply when someone asked if he could make a half-hour speech the next day: "That's not enough time to prepare for a half-hour speech. Now, if you let me speak for three hours..."

And one of the most useful quotes (which someone on this site has in their signature) is Anais Nin's, "We don't see things as they are. We see them as we are."

From "Finding Nemo", my favorite quote is "Don't let me go belly up, don't let me go belly up" Nemo said that when he was being given in a little plastic bag to the dentist's niece.

Here are a couple more:

From Douglas Adams - "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."

And from my screenwriting teacher, James Dalessandro, "Everything Fred Astaire did, Ginger Rogers did backwards and in high heels."

"To live a creative life, you must to lose your fear of being wrong"

I think you can addapt it to photography world... "to get a creative picture, you must to lose your fear of being wrong"

I thought of one more...

"Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?"
