		| | I didn't realize this was going to be such a critiqued side challenge. I like it when we just enjoy each others' work without criticism. Not that I can't take it but I enter the "other stuff" just for fun. I'm not saying anything but the positive things I see. Who am I to critique somebody else anyway? LOL |

		| | I'm following along to see what you folks are doing, and trying to take note of lighting, model position, etc. I've never done formal portraiture. Would like to give it a try perhaps. Did try one of a very unsporting model but she was totally useless. Will have to try to find more useful and eye-friendly models in the future.
I would like to know how Miss Kari always gets herself in focus, though!

I agree, conveying our enjoyment of each others' work is very rewarding and a lot of fun. However, I am very much a newbie when it comes to portraits, and to be honest I started the side challenge as a way of getting some constructive criticism of my early portrait attempts -- and many others here have indicated a similar desire to improve their portraiture skills. So I would propose that whenever possible people offer up both types of comments. And yes, Judy, I would love to hear some hard nosed critiques from a DPC veteran like you -- especially someone who has nothing but portraits in her top 5!

[Edited to fix up some sentence structure issues.]
