Thanks for pointing these out. Great shots!
I particularly like the impact of the negative space in hortopth's "Melbourne Law Doorway".

Also, I think jimofin has succeeded in capturing/creating emotion in his "bench" scene. Not an easy task!

Here's one I would call a "great shot gone unnoticed".

Yes, all of these are special. I left some comments on the photos, though due to DPC's non-notification features, those may go unnoticed.

Indeed, comments on porfolio images ARE THE UNNOTICED part of DPC. (Sorry had to get that off my chest.)

I reckon this is pretty amazing too - not often you catch one! Good context and foreground.

Thanks for the comment on my photo.

If you go to your profile and click on comments received you will notice that it goes up everytime you get a comment. I keep track of mine. Of course I view my profile at least 10 times a day, but I, I am NOT addicted to this site in no way.

theodor38, thanks for noticing one of my shots. I didn't think anyone browsed photos on this site that are not their own.

Thanks

Sonja- how come you dumped all your fav photos? Did you know the number you can list has gone up to 500 now?

Here are a few of my favorites that don't seem to have much attention. "LOUD!" was my first favorite when I became a member.

With only 2 people having it in favs, I think this one is one of the most overlooked shot I have in my favorites.

Some other great ones:

and many others...

Great ideea Theodor, with so many filling the galleries some overlooked shots really needs to be brought more in everyones attention.

Hey! That one's on my favs too.

Along with these, which I'm the only one that picked them.

This one is in my favorites that was only picked by me that I really liked and think was overlooked. Van
