Oh, i just saw Bear's notes on my poppy image. I can hardly wait to pursue that, but first I want to post these fun experiments:

Add cartoon: ....add Spice (remove blur):

Edited to add: thanks for the very good tips on the poppy image, Bear. You've done a fine edit on that image and I'll remember the bit about the sky. Yes, yours is better by far. (And I'll spend playtime with you any time!!!)

I am really beginning to like the textures when I convert images edited using Topaz Adjust to b/w

I've been busy finishing up school and going to soccer games, baseball practice, and play practice lol... so I hope to get back to commenting and submitting soon - so many very cool photos here.

Anywho, I wanted to point this out because I saw it on the Flickr thread. I guess that Topaz has a new software release, called Clean 2. If you had bought Vivacity before May 6 you get a free keycode for this. I may download it and give it a try to see what it can do. Not quite sure yet how it differs from Topaz Simplify.

I don't know much about the Topaz products. I have Topaz Adjust. Are there other products that I should have in addition to TA? This is getting complicated.

Topaz layers: Spicify at 55% opacity and simplify on a copy of spicify, with soft light blending mode at 35% opacity.

Sorry, I've been busy preparing for vacation and I'm off in the morning to Europe. Here are some I was able to get to tonight from a trip 4 years ago to Sydney, Australia with a point & shoot camera. Sorry for not commenting more. I'm hoping to be able to connect in from Europe and post some of my shots there.

Depends on what you want to spend. LOL! I only have adjust as well, but I'm quite happy with that. I've read the DeNoise is worth it, but you probably should have went with the package deal in that case.

eta: back when I bought it, Adjust & DeNoise were the only ones available as far I remember.

I was considering getting an NR plugin anyway, and with the positive feedback others have on denoise, the package deal will probably be what I will go for when I can spare the $. Does anyone know if they start emailing you discount offers for purchase after the trial expires?

Wut dat u sayin'?

I was torn on this one;

Topaz Adjust Spicify - which really messed with the background colors.
-or-
Topaz Adjust Vibrancy - which gave a more of a natural background.

I like messing things up so went with Spicify.

A bit disappointing, but my trial licenses expired 10 days after I received them. I have contacted Topaz and have requested extension of the licenses, so we shall see....

Anyone else have that problem?

I don't remember any discount offers being sent, but you have to remember that at this price compared to the other contrast enhancing plug-in TA is about $200 cheaper... :)

So combine the two by layering and erasing?
