| I'm only going to predict 4's for myself from now on. Especially in freestudies. The votes are telling me that what I think is one of my best is only so-so. |

Incredible how the score just keeps on dropping as time goes by.Why is that? Is my photo slowly deteriorating for some reason?
There are some absolutely stunning entries in this contest. I'll be ever so happy if I score over a 6 in this one.

Easy there, don´t have a heart attack, you ain´t even been here a month :)
In my experience you shouldn´t even look at the score till at least 24 hours have passed as it can change dramatically in that period. Then after those first 24 hours it usually stays the same, maybe a 0.2 +/- change, I have only once or twice seen a score either rise or drop more than that after the first day of voting.

I actually like this one better than my Master's FS which is cheerfully beating it scorewise. Could be the voters in that challenge are just being extra generous ;-) |
quilty as charged. How can you vote anyone really low in that challenge. It is the Masters competing. There are going to be some awesome shots. |
This is an attitude I don't understand. I had no problem using my usual voting scale in the Master's Free Study. There were some real half-hearted efforts. |

It is certainly more interesting to click the update button. My backlighting entry is gonna be my 13th 5.9 looks like. Still, better than my scores throughout DPCO. Thanks for the encouragement, Barry! |
