Trying out the new 50MM F1.4 this is at 1.8 and I like the bokeh. I shot low to get some christmas tree lights in the background. BW conversion via Channel mixer.

And today's Fl sunset shot. Temps here tonight and tomorrow are 58 and 82F.

Thank you krnodil for fixing the links this morning. My mac was running on the 2nd internal HD with an outdated browzer. I installed a security update from .mac and it crashed the primary HD in my Mac. I took it to my nephew today, and he installed the latest OSX operating system in both HD's and now it is better than ever. No files were lost : ) This was the first time it has had any service in about 3 years of daily operation, other than installing the normal updates from .mac.

I haven't been able to keep up with the pace here. I will make double use of my latest effort, which is a card for my neice and her partner. Their little dog is Lulu and I have used a pic I took when visiting. I think I should have done something about the bright bit of floor in the bg.

I'm going to be uber-busy in the next few days. I'll post and comment as I can. Hope to not get too far behind. As of Monday I'll be on vacation in Florida - stay tuned for THOSE photos!

Hi everyone!

Have been REALLY busy at work as it is the last week before we shut down for the Christmas holidays (yeah! 2 weeks off!!!) which explains why I have not commented/posted this week.

I'll be on vacations for the rest of the month so I promise to catch up, if not in pictures then in comments for sure.
