Hint: agar-agar is more structurally stable under hot lights.

I use Knox gelatin. It's strong enough to still be solid after 3 days out of the fridge. I've never used Jell-O, so that might melt easily

Besides, I get the best results pointing the lights behind the glasses, not at them.

*snort* if you read my notes on either gelatin shot, you'll see I have no secrets.

Which reminds me to finish the "how'd they do that" I meant to write for Rondo in Red.

Scalvert: "How many could you handle?"
Larus: "I don't think more than ten."
Scalvert: (doing the math on his fingers) "That leaves 259 for me. At my best, I could never defeat that many. We need the man in black."

For those who recognize it, who wants to finish the story? ;-P

Haven't watched Princess Bride recently, but it has something to do with a crazy old man, a chocolate covered magic walnut, and one of the funniest "paralyzed" sequences to ever hit the screen.

You are very good

Then why are you smiling?

Because I know something you don't know!

What's that?

I am not a left handed photographer!

Oops sorry yes I have been drinking LOL but that is one of the funniest films ever, right behind Young Frankenstein.

Well, I made my first outing early this morning in a light rain. I haven't been able to download the pics yet, but found a new location with promise. At least I'll have something, but I'm hoping to have more expeditions to other new locations so as to have lots to pick from!

you're one of the reasons this challenge shouldn't be called "masters" challenge. because you're not in it.

I think you've probably got a whole stack of ribbons but have them hidden under a Klingon cloaking device so we can't see them !

If not you certainly should have (the ribbons that is - not the cloaking device)

Although come to think of it the cloaking device would be pretty cool as well - think how useful that would be in your photography ?

Nature shots - candid shots - street scenes all sorts without being spotted

Judy, this means that some lucky ribbon winner will get a brown to add to their collection. I'll join you and we can watch from the cheap seats!

Yeah she should have won several by now. This on in particular deserved better:

Although she nailed the challenge it was pretty much treated as a landscape-only challenge (see the top ten results). Still she managed 57 favorites despite not having the front page exposure, which is quite impressive.

What about Madison? Miss Fancy Pants is likely gold too! :) I almost tried to do your shot of her in the last Color Studio Portrait because I think it's so darling. She's probably a bit older now.

Thanks!

I was thinking about doing that one with her little sister... she actually fits into that exact outfit now. I have a few ideas I'm working on...
