Uggh I hate getting low scores... Well maybe not that but I do hate getting low scores and not getting a reason why they gave me that score...

Hmm trolls are about, just got a 3 followed by a 2 followed immediately by a 3 and not one comment.

Wouldn't mind but it was sitting at 5.79 now at 5.5 thanks to those votes, more over it's actually a good shot just requires more than 2 seconds to see what's in the image... Grrr I am starting to turn Green!

Actually, this challenge was not exactly a thrilling topic to have to shoot and I didn't have any "brilliant" ideas to make it more interesting, so I entered what I thought, would be a humorous shot this time to make people smile. Knew it was going to bomb but, hoping that it was going to make people smile. Instead of voters having a laugh at it...THEN, giving it the low score....the LITERALISTS are out there, simply picking apart the shot, taking it seriously. BAH HUMBUG! Can't a gal have any fun in here?!

Edited to speak correctly...well, at least make an attempt at sounding as though I can! ;)

I think we all agree about the not knowing why. I just went through and commented on 75% of the images in this challenge. If people would stop complaining about not getting comments and then go briefly comment on just 10 photos each, I think we would all start feeling a little better.

Not that commenting made MY score any better, heh:

Shhhh remember you're not allowed to talk about your entry in a way that might give it away.

If it makes you feel any better, there are a couple of shots I wasn't sure were legal but I didn't mark them down for that, let SC sort it out if they aren't. I just voted on how well I liked them.

I just saw two entries that look identical to the last pixel. I double checked, and they even have different image IDs and different titles.

What would you do when you face this? How is this possible unless

- duplicate entries are allowed per person?
OR
- one user has multiple accounts?
OR
- two people entered the -exact- same image?

I dont want to presume what it is, but I already voted on one of those, and now the second one popped up.

What would you do??

P.S. I didnt enter this challenge. If you didnt either, then I can share the Image IDs in a PM to verify that I am not having double vision:-)

I saw that too...I had already voted on one...so gave the second the same vote, and I sent the into to SC..
I'm sure someone named a file wrong.....it's too obvious..

I just did the same. Still what I dont get is this: once I have submitted an image, I have to 'un'submit it before I can submit another. SO there is no way I can imagine (unless theres a system glitch) where I could upload the same image twice to the same challenge.

I would love to find out what happened:-)

Well, someone or two someones will end up losing their membership/ account(s). It is against the rules to have two accounts and it is against the rules to have the same image entered by two people.

anyway I've noticed the two identical photos I didn't vote on the second one when I saw it. There is only a slight diference...the angle of the shot is moved 1-2 inches

Checked the two images yesterday (not long after rollover when voting started) and also concluded they are the same. Same Border, same colourning and all. Put them on seperate layers and when adjusting the opacity of the top layer, nothing changes as the lower layer is identical.
SC has received a report from here as well, so I am sure they are aware. Probably have requested files to see what the go is.
Of course, don't presume that both have broken the rules. One may be legal, and that person may have posted the photo on another site, and another person has decided to try and pass that image as their own.

Remember, Vote as if it is legal, and let SC determine what action, if any, is necessary.....
