A nice comment coupled with a low vote. Pfft.

LOL, I think I've completely blown it and will be going for my all time lowest score on this one. Partly its because my lighting sucked, but the other part is hilarious - I chose a title and a theme that I have now realised only Australians know.....whoops, will have to explain it at some point. People are taking offence at an Aussie everyday phrase!

They are identical, I never even noticed. DQ for sure.

May be people didnt get it? Usually people dont take offense for no reason:-)

My score has steadily been dropping for the past 5 hours apart from 2 good votes. Started off pretty high, now running the risk of losing my PB.

Trish, we are often misunderstood. It comes with living in the Best Country on Earth.........

I know (well pretty sure I know) which photo you are talking about, know exactly what you were after and I think it is a great idea and well done (I have not voted at all). The phase is an everyday thig, something that I say a bit. I can't see why people are taking offense, and as an aussie, also can't see why people don't get it......

The planes were clearly two different images, taken by different people, on different days. Any more than a cursary galce could see they were not the same shot. however it was interesting to see two very similar shots on the same challenge.
This person could not have loaded the image twice if they have only one account. It seems like they have two accounts here. The system does not allow you to upload two photos to the one challenge. It will replace your photo with another.
A person holding two accounts is against the rules.

Correct. That is true to the best of my knowledge. To upload another image (or the same copy of an image) to the same challenge, I will first have to unsubmit the older one. If I dont, the old one should be replaced.

I am still giving the author the benefit of doubt here.. assuming noone will come out and explain it if they did it on purpose.. usually.

A glitch however may be possible if someone submitted at the last second of the deadline... dont know for sure.. only site council or Langdon may know.

Can we make them up? It's probably more fun that way ;-)

Now, remember, I was adopting a new mantra, "At least it's not a 4." That made sense when I had a score of 5.1 ... days ago. Now I need a new mantra to chant to find inner calm and score acceptance.

I've hidden a couple of posts because it was easier to hide them than edit them. :)

We are aware of the duplicity, and are taking care of it.

Please do not discuss specific entries during voting.

Chanting "At least it's not a 4" got her into that position - don't say it, Mary! You'll jinx yourself!

As for me, I've been holding steady at a 4.5xxx for hours.

Well, I should have followed my own advice. I dropped to 4.4, but thank goodness I got another comment, I feel a little better now. I can finally stop hitting the update button for a while.

I wish my score was holding steady, it's been slowly but steadily dropping all day and yesterday. If this keeps up, I'll lose my PB. I cannot stand another 4.something score, I'm hoping desperately it doesn't drop.

Oh and the last 2 nice comments I got were coupled with a bad vote, grrr.

From 6.38 in the first hours, quickly dove to 5.45.
It's coming up since then, slowing but steadying... I wish it would break the 6 barrier.
