yesterday.
If I really try hard and have a purpose for taking a picture, i usually straight-off-the-bat have a photograph i like.

2 days ago. Shot this in a park downtown. I am thinking of getting it blown up and framed and that is saying something because I rarely print any of my photos.

This little guy (girl?) was hanging out on our front porch a couple weeks ago. He just sat there, relaxing and enjoying the sun while I photographed him from several angles. I think this is the best shot of the lot.

This was the last shot I was happiest with as I'm not that good with lighting but reckon I nailed it this time :)

Well, that would be 10 days ago at Big Sur, but I can't show any of 'em until I straighten out my FS and Best of 2008 needs :-)

The sun came out for 1 beautiful minute and lit up this wall of chartreuse sweet potato vine. I got 3 shots and it was over.

I think that one is pretty cool. It seemed to get a really good response.

That one also cracked me up.. Unfortunately a split second before, there were three barbers with three guys leaning back but I didn't have the right exposure set when I happened upon the shot.

24 hours ago- I know its not a great shot, but there is something about the simplicity of the image that I really like.

Probably March this year. Taken quite a few since but without the same level of connection.

Shot this in June and couldn't find an analogous way to edit it then. Three months later I found my way back to it.

This weekend for the wildlife challenge, drove 3 and half hours away and got some wicked shots of some wild wild animals - however the voters don't seem to agree with me =)

Other than that I was happy with my Grimm Shot -

August. (It looks better as a large print. DPC doesn't do it justice.)

I've totally been in a slump.

edit: There was , but it's from August, too.

One of my new favorites, taken a couple weeks ago and yes that's pretty much how it looked when I shot it, was just amazing, like something out of a fairytale. I had watched the sunrise for a good 5 or 10 min before I came to my senses and shot it :)

Monday 10/13

I went for a hike in the woods yesterday and made some photographs that should have potential, I haven't had a chance to process them at all.

Taken in May. Even though my family hate it and think it is a disgrace to have honoured it to my deceased neice. I love it. It is and will probably be the best shot that I will ever take in my life.

Pride! I lit it, shot it, shot the screen, photoshopped the screen in!

I was on ISO1600 tho, lol, so I was also at f/36 and there's some sensor dust...

But still! Pride!
