First come first serve. I'll try to get to every photo that is posted, time permitting. Btw, if there is something in particular you want me to focus on (ex. want my reaction rather than a technical critique) let me know.

This photo has no comments. I guess just your reaction as I already know some of the technical problems.

Would really appreciate a comment on this. I thought it would do a bit better, and I didn't receive enough comments or feedback to really know what was wrong with it.

Please, just an honest comment.

Comment on whatever you'd like!
(Not so much the editing though, since someone else edited it for me) :) Thanks!

I would love both your reaction and any editing tips you might have. I know it's a little grainy =(
Thanks!
Shelley

Ok this is dumb....but how do you make the thumbnail show up? I entered the ID # but it isn't working

hit the button that shows the 2 little boxes, then just type in the #

Thanks, I would prefer a reaction to this one if you don't mind.

Something different for me, What do you think?

07/29/2008 08:31:02 PM · #18
I am guessing that texture overload was perhaps the major problem with this one. I tend to like shots with lots of layers and I need to learn to keep the composition simpler. I could have easily made the "0 Comment Club" except for the one comment which stated "give you a 7", which of course told me nothing I could not find out from the voting histogram.

guess want to see what you think. only got one comment on it so far. thanks.

Working on the wideangle and swoopy clouds shots that always seem to score so well. The foreground didn't work too well so I adjusted it to a silhouette, but the rest of the shot is what I was really working on.

Danke.

Does that mean you are looking for more ;)

I was amazed (and very pleased) at rollover that there were so many 7-10's as it had been hanging around the 5.6 mark most of the week ... if you can offer some cc as to the 2's, 3's and 4's ... maybe dnmc's for hot or maybe something else, any insight would be great :)

eta. Although looking through the top ten there are loads of 3's and 4's .... voters weren't in a good mood for this challenge then, LOL

Processing is primarily a Lightroom preset template (I'd have to see if I can remember which one.) Looking for feedback on the processing. Thanks!
