I've been to Hawaii... but I'd love to go back. Vacationing in Hawaii was like living in paradise!

The Florida Keys!
Get up early, shoot the sunrise (whether model or scenery). Fish for my lunch. Nap. Shoot the evening. Time with friends. Repeat.
As for the world? My wife & I dream of returning to Europe some day. To do so with a camera would be a bonus. :)

It was, and I was there, and the place sucks for getting photos unless you're in the grandstands.

In my own country...I'm itching to get to back to Savannah.
The world?...that's tough, either Santorini or Easter Island would top the list. |

In the US - definitely the Florida Keys. I absolutely adore that area.
Grand Canyon is mind boggling - I can definitely advocate going there. But it's up the road from me, and I've been a bunch of times. So Keys it is.
In the world - Tibet - hands down. |

Next here at home in the USA will be Yosemite National Park, later this year. Yippee!
In the World would be to see the Mayan Ruins in the Mayan Riviera region of Mexico... followed closely by Greece... Belize... Coasta Rica... Australia... Peru... Africa... Austria... and everywhere in between. Love to travel. Just can't afford much of it.
Have been a very fortunate person to have won a trip some years back to Hawaii. Awesome! And gifted recently with a trip to Alaska. Equally magnificent! Have also been up and down the East and West Coasts, and explored the Gulf Coast, as well as Yellowstone, Crater Lake, The Grand Cayon, the Southwest Desert, The Smokey Mountains, the swamps of Florida, Great Lakes, Thousand Islands, Poconos, Catskills, Adirondacks, The Ozarks, The Rockies, The Chiricahuas, Grand Tetons, Niagra Falls, Amish country, the Redwoods, Sedona Redrock country, Graceland, Route 66, Gettysburg, Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, Carlsbad Cavens, The Petrified Forest, Watkins Glenn, Glen Canyon, Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde, The Salton Sea, ...Vegas, DC, NYC, Miami, Palm Beach, Palm Springs... and most major cities. It's a beautiful, scenic country, no doubt about it. And it's hard to pick a favorite. I just love road trips and getting out in nature. Photo ops everywhere! Especially along the "blue highways." Go! Wander!
(Hint: The Chiricahua National Monument of SE Arizona is one the nation's best-kept secrets. Surreal!)
Also been to southern France, Canada / Quebec / British Columbia, and Mexico. All good!! I try to make it a point to go someplace new and different at least once a year. Just wanted to share some thoughts... (fun thread!) ... and wish you peace and love and many happy trails!
But, now you've got me curious about Area 51. As much fun as Studio 54?? Pricey? 8-/

Here is a good place. Salton Beach, Ca. would make the list, as would Chernobil. I really prefer being to going though.

Savannah is a great place and a great place to photograph too - real friendly people. |

I guess you could tag seasons to this. In the Spring I would love to return to Reelfoot Lake, or Land Between The Lakes, both in Tennessee. Both are spectacular. |

Within Australia, I'd have to probably say Darwin and Tiwi Islands during the wet season to take photos of Hector, the resident lightning storm.
Overseas... I think it'd have to be Iceland (based on what I've seen by the DPC Icelanders).

Within America I'd want to just drive out west from New Jersey until I hit San Fransisco. It will be weird with all those wide open spaces...
For the world (tough choice) either Beijing and the surrounding area or somewhere in DR Congo |

Checkout the video on that shoot (you need to google it... the movie seems to keep getting deleted so a link is not good).... They had a chopper on the outside taking video of the climb up the last poll.... It's far more exposed then it appears :o-) |

I have photographed almost everywhere in the USA that I wanted to, basically, EXCEPT the Grand Tetons and Alaska, so that's where I'd go, one or the other.
For the world? I ache to shoot the Greek islands...

Within the USA, I'd have to say the Aleutian Islands, Alaska. Anywhere in the world? My first stop is Costa Rica. :-) |
