One of the most Valuable lessons about photography you can learn, is about ISO what it is and what it does. Using ISO 800 will give you extra noise. I suggest lowering the ISO down, I shoot between 100-200 most the time. When I bump it up, for effect and extreme low light situations. I to used to shoot with higher ISO, and couldn't/didn't understand why I had so much grain/noise. So play around with it and see what happens.

This is the line "There's no point in asking, you'll get no reply" from "Pretty Vacant" by The Sex Pistols. Got home extremely late in the evening and just took a couple of snaps. This was the least worst.

Here's a goof off pic for me. I was so tired of trying to get the focus down I decided to goof off a bit.
 I'm still learning PS, so this was a pretty big accomplishment for me!
 Here was one of my attempts at the focus and getting rid of the grain. Pretty horrible picture, but I think I took a small step in the right direction. |

I am getting behind again :(, both on images and comments! I will try to make it up during the weekend. I will try to get outside shots too - the weather is supposed to be milder and hopefully without snow. We are literally buried here.

I have skipped quite a few days and I don't want to play catch-up, so I will just continue by day. I have been really busy lately and looking forward to resting this weekend. But I will try and get photos in and try to comment. I applaud all who are keeping up with this. |
