Went out and got my new strobes. I'm trying to learn them. So, if anyone has some hints...lemme know.

Are you actually balancing, or falling over?

uh hu, now you are just showing off!! :P

be careful and don't fall over! That is one heck of a bright light. This shot looks like it may have been kinda tricky to pull off! Nice.

Heh! I like this one. It's fun, it's kicky. Enjoy the lights! I'm horribly envious.

Yep..what TGW said...I do the same..typically f8-f11 at 1/125th and lights varying. I try to get the lights as far as possible away to reduce the shadows on the wall behind, but depends on the shot. I'm reading this book - really worth getting a copy.

You have good lighting on your face, it looks like only one source right? To me this is pretty fun, but yeah, I like the single lighting. At first look the foot coming at us almost looks like your whole leg was missing. Had to take a second look to figure out that was your shoe L()L.

So explain how you set up the new strobe (Congrats by the way) and what you wanted to accomplish exactly.

Great pose! It looks like you got knocked over by the power of your new lights! :)
