GO PACKERS!!!!!!! |
I'll be watching the game from a bar in Bellingham WA (about an hour north of seattle). Have to pick someone up from the airport there right after the game... I'm thinking I'll be the only Packer fan! Kind of wish I had a cheese head!

Now that I think of it, does the bar serve nachos? If so, cheesehead problem is solved :-)

If Grant rushes for more than 80 yards, I'm changing your user name to "Ken Rockwell." ;-)

Wow, Who is that Ryan Grant guy? 200 yards 3 TD's
Anyone have a good recipe for crow?
Ill admit I blew a gasket at the begining when Grant fumbled twice, But that wasn't enough to stop a frieght train.

i wont make any excuses, i dont know why the hawks defense cant play on the road like it does at home. When you get up early like that you gotta go for the kill and they just played with no emotion at all And GB's def never lightened up, my hats off to them for a great game

Ok for the next 24 hours I am a NY Giants Fan. Go Giants. But after the way the Packers played today, Dallas could be in for a big upset if they get past tomorrow.
Todays other game is tied at 14 going into the half. Looks like the Jags brought the A Game, Hopefully they can keep it going, If they are still in the game in the 4th Quarter they just might have a chance. Go Jags!

Seems like a lack of leadership to me. Of course it would help if they got anything from Shaun Alexander. That guy has never impressed me. He's only good when he has a mile wide hole to run through. He runs with no passion.

Since I started the thread, I guess it's up to me to kill it. Sad as it is to say, the better team won. Good luck to the Packers in the rest of the play-offs.
PS. But for a Seahwak fan, it's hard to beat the first 4 minutes of the first quarter of that game! Packers showed a lot of character coming back from that. |

Congrats to all the Packers fans. I didn't have em picked admittingly, but they looked good and that RB is a monster over there.
I cant wait to see em against the Giants, I hope GB wins. |

How can you root for Green Bay? By your standards, they totally disrespected the game of professional football, running up the score and winning by 22 points! They should have eased up, maybe joked around with the 'hawks players, sent in their 3rd string and only won by a field goal.

Haha, They did spot Seatle 14 points before they laid down the hammer.

Actually, the stars (Grant, Favre, and others) left the game before it was over.
And edit to add:
THANK YOU NEW YORK GIANTS!!!!!!!

I think you've made your point about this whole running up the score thing, can we get off this now? |

The thread went downhill because the Seahwaks lost. The whiners went home! Green Bay sure did demolish them. It was close for a quarter atleast, have to give Seattle that much credit |

It appeared that Seattle stopped trying once the snow started. |

yeah i said it earlier in this thread, (and i been a fan since the first season) no excuses, when you get a team down 14 that fast you gotta go for the kill, seattles defense has consistently MURDERED teams at home and played with no emotion on the road, very, VERY frustrating from a fans perspective.
But I credit Favre most of all, he is a master. That clip of him stumbling away from a sack and shovel passing a TD will be played when he goes to canton. |

There will be new threads as the weekend approaches, me thinks. I'll post my always-perceptive and penetrating analysis tomorrow evening or Friday, and then the trash talking will begin. I'm just wondering what we're going to do without having Seattle to kick around this week. That kept us busy for a few days and about a hundred messages last week. |
