Good luck, all!

What are we thinking people? Two possible interpretations spring to mind:
1 Vanishing points (and we won't have that argument about 'implied' vanishing points hopefully lol)
2 The small-near-object-next-to-big-far-away-object-looking-like-same-size approach (as below)

This is a repeat of my first ever challenge. My interpretation was a 3rd option....Metaphorically, as in one's "point of view".....I didn't communicate it very well though :)

Yeah, looking at previous challenges, "perspective" tends to mean, "wide angle lens." Too bad this challenge wasn't announce after Christmas... |

I agree, I think that sort of thing is a good fit for the challenge, but there are a lot of DNMC trolls out there. You might have to make it very clear in your title what you're getting at. |

I wasn't at DPC last Christmas. Does voting, submitting etc get very sluggish then? |

The picture I want to add has the same subject as from an open challenge.. Don't know if I'll get voted down for adding similar stuff..

I don't remember off the top of my head, but you can always go and look at the challenges and results from around last Christmas.

I tend to vote higher if the picture shows some originality as well as meeting the challenge and being technical sound. |

Lol. No, not that I know of. I said after Christmas because I really want to find a wide angle lens under the tree. |

I'm also IN, not been doing too well recently score-wise but I think the pics I submit are all to my liking and that is the important thing really.
I have submitted a shot that I feel meets the challenge rather well and I hope that people can enjoy it whatever the score.

I just unsubmitted my photo, a first for me, but I felt that I was submitting the photo just to justify the time I took getting it, not because it really fit the challenge. Sometimes you have to hold back and choose the harder right than rush in to choose the easier wrong.

this is always the most important thing, sometimes photographs have an importance for the author that irrespective from the alleged technical value or how many the photograph meet the challenge. what do you search in the challenges? a good score is always welcomed but with the challenges you can 1) go out to search something 2) obtain an improvement of you capabilities of "see" the photograph 3)comparison of different ways and styles 4)for a not professional photographer obtain some comment helpful for the next time :) |

I've got my perspective entry in. Ready to be ripped to shreds, but you don't know for sure. I've actually been making a game out of trying to guess before the voting what I will end up at. |

eheheh could be an amusing feature if when you submit a photograph for a challenge you can write in a textbox your prevision for the final average score :) |

I'm in but I don't expect my entry to do well. It's not all that interesting, but I hadn't entered in awhile and I had an itch. |
