 One last photo of flowers the gardens at my work place. The gardeners were out removing the summer flowers and replacing them with tulip bulbs and pansies, so I got out and took a few last photos. |

Day 17:
I have this series of photos that I'm trying to put together just for fun...pretty much consists of doorways and what's in it. This is one of them. |

| Grrr..... the internet service in my Pod isn't. I can IM with mom but that's about it. Web pages take three or four tries to get to, then weeks to load (OK, that might be a bit of an exaggeration.) I can get access here at the office, but it's SLOW... Anyway, I will try to get some commenting in - just wanted to let you know that when I can here, I'm enjoying the heck out of seeing everyone's day!! |

Still in Kuwait. Will try again tomorrow to see if I can get to Afghanistan. Got all my stuff packed and ready to go, too.

My LCD is back!
It is raining here today so I thought I'd put off the walkabout until tomorrow and just kinda hang @ Starbucks, the worlds best place to people watch when this bird landed on the car roof next to me. (Why do they always do that?) So I figured I'd have some fun with it and proceeded to get closer and closer. It never did fly away.

Who'd have thought that a tumble weed could be so pretty. This one is all dressed up in it's fall colors. But don't be deceived by it's beauty. It can inflict some pain if you touch it. |

I have been complaining all morning about my lack of comments and views on my picture, while  mad_brewer has been getting all kinds of views and comments. Ken then asked if I had put it out in the forum. I then realized I hadn't....ROFL Soooooo here is my day 16 picture. I have my day 17, 18, and 19 done too, I just need to save them for web and upload them and I am all caught up...yiiiippppeeeeee
