A flower growing in my garden. I am not sure how much longer we will have them, it is getting cold and night, and soon they will freeze. I cropped other than that straight from the camera! |

This a photo taken in North West Idaho. It was raining, and a very dark and dreary day. A slice of life from today. My husband and I are on a road trip with his 2 brothers and a sister to visit Vale, Oregon, and areas in North West Idaho where the family lived until my husband was 6, he is now 60. He has not been back there since he was 12. We had a great time.
 This bridge goes over the Snake River at Idaho Falls, Idaho.

 My husband and his two brothers taking pictures of the area in Vale, Oregon where they lived as little boys. My husband in the one kneeling, Warren is in red, and Mac is white. This was such a fun thing for me to be with them on this trip and to listen to them talk about their memories. I photographed them while they photogaphed the scenery.
 We couldn't believe this old barn was still standing. My husbands father used to milk his cows here between 55 and 60 years ago. Of course it isn't being used for anything now.
 I found tree just loaded with these berries, I think that is what they are, is North West Idaho.
We are home now, I have got to get up to date on comments. Hopefully I can do that later today. I appreciate all the comments you all are giving me. I am learning a lot from you all and enjoy all you nice photography, and your willingness to share!

Let's see. $15 for breakfast, $6 bridge toll, $2 dollars parking, $50 parking ticket (the $2 permit blew out the window without me knowing), $150 phone (wave victim, no insurance). Gee, only $223 for this shot. I'm going to start a new 'Personal' thread now...
