The Toledo Zoo sounds like a great time ... I love the spring and fall ... animals seem to be a lot more active when it's not 90 degrees outside!! |

I would enjoy a Detroit Zoo trip myself - we're members & I don't get there as often as I should even though it is only 10 minutes away... But I also think downtown would be a blast, too!

I sure wish I could make it! My daughter and her 2 kids moved in with me temporarily, and my granddaughter (2yrs. old) had pinkeye. Well...now grandma has it. It's very annoying and very contagious. I really am hoping we do this again soon.
Di...I might just take you up on the offer to go shooting with you sometime. :)

I had no idea you were in Auburn Hills ... I'm a member and it's less than 5 min away ... I've been there about 6 times this summer ...

You bet ... we'll try to another GTG some weekend in October (before it gets very cold!) I know that the second weekend in Oct is already booked for me, so I'd prefer the third ... |

Oooh so maybe I can do this. Not sure where the zoo is. I think I am about 2 hours from the airport. So it's got to be in this time frame. This could be doable for me! Keep me posted!

Di and the rest of the Michigan crew... guess I am not going to be able to make it either. Almost did though. Car won't make it I guess. I changed the oil and lubed it and all... and noticed a "pretty" green liquid dripping... and found a hole as big as Grand Canyon's little brother in the radiator. Took out the radiator and had the holes glued/welded/tarred and feathered or whatever the radiator place does to fix them. Got it reinstalled about an hour ago... just before I noticed that my tie-rods are pretty shaky on the driver's side. I can replace them tomorrow but not in enough time to make it to the GTG. So...
Oh... did I mention that I am driving an 11 year old Neon with 235,000 miles on it. Was my winter beater for the last three years but when I sold the T-Bird and the motorcycle last year... the Neon became numero only.
Have fun tomorrow...uh...today. Pretend I am there. I will be the one will all of the oil-stains on my clothes and lube grease in what is left of my hair.
NEXT TIME!!!! I hope!! ;}
