Oh, I was thought I was looking at the "Michigan GTG September 22 - Out crowd" thread. But that's okay I like to shoot (photos) inside and outside. ;-) Lanc bring your three eyed yellow duck I'd love to shoot it, meaning take photos of it. I'm also looking forward to shooting some "fingers and toes" that have been crossed for twelve hours.

I shot a few pictures of a 3 piece Blues band at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, where they had a big festival with Music as the theme. One interesting sculpture was an assortment of brass instruments sticking out of a concrete wall spewing forth water. They were turned into a fountain.

I've seen both of Belushi/Akroyd Blues brothers movies and I've eaten dinner at the House of Blues in Cleveland, or was it the House of Booze. So I feel that qualifies me to shoot at a Blues festival. One last thing, I have to see if my wife has other plans for that weekend.

I love cars! I have several and definately would not want to miss that event if I drive all the way there.

Nothing but rain here today, on and off. But the Tornado's of the other day came within a few miles. I felt like an idiot today when I realized there is a barn in a tree. Yes, a Barn in a Tree. And I didn't think to use that for 'Power' ...... DOH ! ! !

I don't think so

I sent an PM to Alfresco and Jwillerton telling them about the GTG. Here is Alfresco's response:

Bob

Thanks for the heads-up! Unfortunately odds are I won't be able to make it, I'd put me in the 5% probability area for getting down there.

Sounds like a good time, I was down there last summer - I fell in love with Board of Water and Light building and have wanted to get back and do a photo or two that would do it justice -- I have to stop being a dpcstick in the mud.

Thanks again for the heads up, I appreciate it :)

Take care,

-jp

Hey taterbug and TooCool, how far is the board of water and light building from the capitol? Would that be a good place to see?

ahhh I find out there is a Balloon Fest at Midland county Fairgrounds this weekend.

info

The winds look like they'll be too high for flights, but the glow will probably go on.
