WE'RE HALFWAY THROUGH!!! Way to go to everyone who has made it this far!
This has been the most difficult 50 Days series yet for me. The content of my daily life has been dreadfully dull, I've been too busy moving and studying to get out to do anything close to fun, and there's a certain pressure on this batch, due both to the increase in conspicuousness that comes with a DSLR and to the knowledge that I'm theoretically shooting this one for a month-long exhibition in a gallery. Gah!!
But there is hope in sight. I'm almost finished moving and my summer class will be finished this weekend. Hopefully I can get out of the house and take some cooler pictures!
Not that I've been good about posting every day, but I'm putting the processing on hold until I've taken my final. The grade is just too important.

Day 23 - The Wasps
Gettin' behind...was out of town Mon & Tuesday so I'll have to play a little catch up the next few days. This is a wasps nest under an eave of our house. I just got a new lens (Tamron 70-300 macro) & was looking for willing "macro" subjects. Found these guys. |

Rebecca, I want to let you know how much I appreciate that you started this side challenge. It has prodded me to get out there and take photos that I never would have dreamed of. I am learning heaps from viewing everyones work as well as from all the comments people have left concerning my work.

I want to second what Ron said, Rebecca. This is an awesome challenge - mainly because it's so personal and everyone is telling stories about themselves - either in words or in photos, or both! |
