 This is not a mess, it's organized chaos. I'll point out a few things...

The cds that are stacked up are in perfect shape, even though it looks as if they're mishandled.

The beer is a Boulder Small Batch 471 IPA and the bottle has been sitting there for a long time.

The Chex Mix bag left of desk has only been there for a few weeks, but it was on desk for months.

The little scraps of paper to left of keyboard are covered with picture numbers from camera or DPC.

At bottom left corner of monitor on desk is the Pantone Huey Pro calibrator thing. It was worth every cent.

The papers are like an archaeological dig - I start out deeper depending when I used the paper last.

The speakers are Realistic Minimus 7 and not only do I remember their name after all these years, but they still sound great.

The 2 cameras on computer have pretty much been retired because they're pieces of crap.

The picture of my daughter by hutch is one of the first that I really used a lot of PS on and was just learning.

That IS Christmas wrapping paper on the floow. I'm planning ahead and that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The picture is skewed because I had to shoot at (I think) 14mm to get it all in the picture.

Thank God I'm not the only one with this highly advanced "filing system". A brave capture. I thought about shooting mine but was too weak to do so ;)

There's a lot of logic here that I can apply to my own situation. I like the archaeological dig. Actually I am about to start mine in a minute here.

This is hilarious and I will say that your chaos is better organized than mine. The wrapping paper just cracks me up.

Great points man. I will chalk some of them up for explanations for my office. e.g. That peanut butter and jelly sandwich is there for artistic inspiration. Look at the colors oozing from between the green crust.

Haha, this was so much fun to look out (with your notes), I felt like it was a where's waldo, reading each line & then finding it in the picture. I love the organized chaos!

Pretty bad, but my living space is much worse. :-p
However, I'm envious of your computer setup. I just have a little laptop at home. Somewhere I have a printer, too, but it's still in the box after a year.
White walls, eh? I hope that room gets good light.
I'll bet the Christmas paper is there to be used as a photo backdrop.

LOL! Chaos is a sign of genius - at least that's what I always tell myself. Thanks for sharing and going to lengths to give these "explanations" - hahaha! :o)

Wow! this MIGHT even be more chaotic than my desk!! LOL, I can really relate to this being a packrat and not very orginazied!! Oh wait excuse me..being chaotically (is that a word?) organized myself!! Very cool!!
