1 1/2 oz Absolut Citron vodka
1 1/2 oz triple sec
3 oz Mountain Dew
or
1/3 JD and 2/3 Mountain Dew on ice
Repeat the process again, and again, and again... or just make a big batch and keep it next to you so you don't have to get up to make more. :-) |
My own personal favorite Dew remedy for all kinds of pain.....
Mountain Sunrise:
Mt Dew
1 shot Tequila
1 shot Grand Marnier
1 shot Triple Sec
and a bit of Grenadine for the sunrise effect.
Trust me Cindi - a few of these and your toe will feel fine :)

Cindy,
Your timing is a bit off. The ice on your toe would have fit the "Ice" challenge. The furniture where you broke it could have been in the "Furniture" challenge. Then, all you needed was some "Alternative Medicine" to help with the pain! :-D
p.s. I'm sorry that you broke your toe...I hope it feels better soon and that any pain and bruising doesn't last long.

Yeah, we want a PICTURE: how do we know this isn't just a ploy for sympathy? Pictures, PICTURES! Seriously, Cap'n, I'm sorry to hear this.

LOL I'll try to get an attractive broken foot pic a bit later -- just so Robert doesn't think I'm deflecting attention from my current score! ;)

Robert, I know it is in jest but - Ah sorry no! I don't need photos of 'broken feet' after reading Snow Flower and the Secret Fan that has the Japanese woman trying to attain the perfect 'golden lilies'.
Cindi I am sorry to hear about the broken toe. I hope you recover fast and get back up on your feet. Elvis had a good idea to use Vodka as a oral pain killer:-) Tuaca is always good too:-)

Many years ago my sister slammed the car door on her thumb and her thumbnail fell off, but it grew back.
I asked her why she did that. She said she didn't know why.
It might work for the Grainy challenge, or draw a circle around it with a paper cutout. |

The bone hasnt eevn had time to fully heal. And breaking it multiple times n the same place is bound to make it weaker. |

Yeah, that seems to be the problem. Easier to break this time and hurts worse! :(

Prop it up, isolated against a white background, shoot it from 4 or 5 angles, and sell the photos on your stock sites!
Hey, if it hurts either way, you might as well make some $$$ off of your misery. :) |

Growing up with horses, and playing barefoot soccer I feel your pain, or at least an x-ray of my much broken feet shows why I can relate. For a few months that little piggy is going to be at high risk of reinjury, and though it may seem silly to many I would recommend getting a pair of steel toed sneakers . They are a bit heavy so they may not become a fixture, and you just can't get Jimmy Choos in a steel toe, but there are a surprising variety of shoes that are steel toes. And next time you try to kick a bed out of your path, you can do so with authority. |
