That was my first thought, too. It's been in the teens here...until it hit the 40s yesterday. :)

We had a hard frost last night and the trees were coated in white. Lots of fog and the sun kept peaking through, creating wonderful colors. It was beautiful and perfect for the ice challenge or trees challenge. I had my camera bag beside me, but I was late for work. No time for a single shot... That stinks.

I found some nice ice this morning ... I seriously almost killed myself and almost broke a lens or two but at least i was extra late for work ;] We'll see if any of the photos look like I can slip in a 6.X.

Where am I going to find Ice in India?. I guess I'll take a picture in the freezer...

No ice here. I guess I'll have to create some of my own.

South African summer, over 30 centigrade everyday. The only ice here comes from the freezer, and even then it melts almost as soon as you take it out.

I'm wondering if this challenge is for those of us who were buried under snow and far sub-zero chill factors during the street challenge. So all you from Arizona, Texas and Florida can just sit this one out ;)

It's 60° in Denver. Great timing on this one, eh? ;-)

Might have timed this one well......or maybe not. We are camping this weekend with scouts, but are now talking about packing up and leaving Saturday night before the Ice storm hits.

First week over 70F here. Maybe Smirnoff Ice, but that's about it.

Oh, wait, that's actually bad, isn't it.....

The only problem with this challenge is its snowing so much in Whistler that anything that looks like ice is covered in snow! That, and the light sucks when its snowing hard... I would imagine just plain old snow, while frozen water, will get the DNMC crowd all riled up.

And the challenge description does state that ice cubes are fine for those who live in warm climates. It's summer here and I have submitted a shot.
