I love that shot Tony. Those spiders have such a personality and attitude.

Well here is something you are not going to see everyday. I had a period when I used live butterflies, dragonflies and ladybugs for conceptual shots (AND YES they are LIVE models...the key is patience and lots of time):
Destination Moon
Slaying the Dragon
Brilliancy
Spring Forth From a Book
Aspire
On Wings of Myth
Industrial Nector
Not only did my bug models serve as photograph models but they also helped with teaching my children about bugs as a science lesson....and yes they were later released back into the wild.

My top three rated photos are of the dragonfly/damselfly type. ;-) |

I tried so hard to read through this thread and look at the images but absolutely had to look away - bugs are cute! Really! But spiders UGH!!! If I'm flipping through the thumbs in a challenge and spot a spider I can't vote on that challenge for fear that it will pop up in front of me any second. I know its irrational, but it is what it is. Bugs - cute. Spiders - omg horrible! I keep hoping I'll outgrow it. lol
I'm in the wrong thread, excuse me.
