Oh, now I'm so, so homesick..... And, the sun is shining! That has to be a plus.

Sense its sunday i thought i would post another Church shot. we have so many nice little rural church building i cant show them all. This is Turkey creek Baptist just about 3 mile from Walnut Grove.
i couldnt decide which shot i liked best so i am posting both and you can pick.
I thought the restroom facilities give it a very rural feel

Awwww thankyou, I cheated a bit coz I took both of these this afternoon, just come back from the Albert Dock, the sun was out and it was nice and warm. I took my little girl to Est Est Est for her lunch and took a few piccies. You will have to come home for a visit, you won't believe the place now, by 2008 the city centre will have been virtually rebuilt with hectares of shopping, bars, restaurants and cafes. It is going to look amazing!! |

Delaware River shooting from PA towards NJ. I live 4 miles from the river and the state dividing line. I work in one state and live in the other. The sound of these geese was SO LOUD.
And here is a bonus shot, so to speak. Yes, I know only a small portion is in focus ... but for some unknown reason I really like this shot. Go figure.

I stayed local today. The boat images are about a mile from home, near the primary local bridge.

P.S. I endangered myself for these shots; a group of kids decided to throw stones at me and started following me back as I walked away - all of this in the daylight, on a busy road with lots of pedestrian and auto traffic *sigh*

This church is located in Falmouth Virginia. It is on the northern side of the Rappahannock. The Union soldiers spent most of their time on this side of the river during the battles in and around Fredericksburg. I live about 5 miles north of here. |

From a little further afield this time - spent the weekend a bit further north with some family.

Although I have to admit they're both from yesterday, spent most of today on trains.
