Look at the last 9 pages, I gave up stating my side when I was put as a criminal. Nobody seems to be reading what I say. Atleast I know for sure Langdon isn't paying any attention to me.
So I have no right to be pissed by now?

Please calm down. Everyone has listened to what you are saying, but the disconnect is that your interpretation of the rules is not theirs. You've explained your side. They've explained theirs. Everyone has had their say. By continuing to repond in such a belligerent manner, you're only digging yourself a hole. And by telling people where they can go using veiled four letter expletives, you're certainly angling for a more severe punishment than that which you've received. Which is actually a rather light punishment compared to what we have seen for buddy voting schemes recently.
As for the evidence, SC has offered to post it for you, but you haven't given them permission. And yet you're screaming bloody murder over not getting to see it. Perhaps you should try responding to SC's offer in this thread? If you have nothing to hide, then we'll all get to see that for ourselves. The only reason I can see not to agree to the public posting of evidence is if you know you're in the wrong.

You cheated.
You got caught.
Now all you do is waste words with excuses. No wonder no one pays attention.
As for comparing you to a criminal, while your offense wasn't criminal, you certainly have taken up a common criminal response by trying to come up with ways that even though you violated the rules, it isn't really your fault. If you don't want to be compared to a criminal, don't act like one.

For someone so determined to clear himself, you don't seem very interested in revealing the evidence. If you'd rather keep your actions hidden I can PM you the results, but you already have the information: you voted 10 on your teammates entries during the WPL, and those were your ONLY votes of 10 during that period. |

I can't be sure everyone involved in this will want their voting to be put up for grabs.
Scalvert already made it pretty clear that I voted no 10's for anyone but my friends.
Or was it all my friends or did I only vote for some of them when I felt the picture deserved it.
I would for my part like to see this privatly just as every member that is being accused for a criminal act should get to see things.
Maybe just show me exactly what I did wrong. Then I would shut the fuck up and get out of this administrations face.
It would end this whole thing in a bliss if I heard anything from the guy that started it all. Mr. Langdon.
Send me a email so I can see what I did wrong. Where I wen't so criminally wrong. Just explain to me where in the rules I can be banned for voting after my heart and emotion, everything I have to vote with.
And I swear... anyone calling me a criminal for this whole shit will get the Farting Yak treatment. |

Every matter has two sides at least, life is not just black and white. And when we are dealing with some matters like this particular case that concerns real people it is very importand to act with caution and care, try to see all the sides of it and avoid to judge.
Immediately after these suspensions where announced in this forum, when nobody even knew who were suspended (we that were suspended didn’t even know it, because nobody bothered to let us know) many people started to shout: CHEATERS, CHEATERS! And they shouted on a moment when it was impossible to see more than one side.
A community like this here on DPC reflects the real life in all it’s colourful scale. We members are of course all human, made of flesh and blood, we are all frail and weak, we all make mistakes, not only we that were suspended but all the rest of the community as well.
I made a mistake but I am no cheater and neither are the others that have been banned. We are ordinary people just like the rest of this community. What’s more it has shown clearly in all this course of events, many others have made mistakes. I haven’t had time to read all this thread, but I have seen negative exclamations, over-hasty judgements and generalizations, even rudy attacks. I will not name, accuse or judge anybody, but my opinion is that when some people are found guilty of something, the course of the issue not only depends on the reacton of those who are accused (me and the 5 in this case) but also and even more on the others who feel they are more good and just. Because exactly in that circumstances they have much more moral space to show how just they really are, for the benefit for the community.
I made a mistake and I am really sorry for that, so I apologize to all of you. And as I have already said, many others have also made mistakes here. I think it is necessary to put an end on this process as soon as possible, or else the whole community will suffer more and more from it. Rather than rubbing salt in wounds and sow seeds of suspicion, mistrust and anger, lets instead try to heal the community again with more consideration, understanding and friendship.
Whether we are Christians or not I think it is good for all of us to read Matthew 7:1-5

Farting Yak :) (just kidding)
Scalvert. Please send every banned member what they did wrong. I understand what I did wrong, I just had no idea it was wrong at the time since the rules didnt say squatdidledoo about it.
Make this end from the SC's side and send the results to everyone. Let them know what they did wrong so that they don't think that you are just "simply taking them out".
Do the right thing here man. |

May I suggest that you simply select "challenge" at the top of the page then select "Challenge History" open up the challenges that you voted on during the WPL then select "order by my vote"
All the information you need will be laid out before you.

Thank you scalvert. My friends ask for the same information I just got in my PM.
I am sorry about the fuzz. I have seen what I did wrong according to the new unwritten rules, allthough I had no idea it was illegal.
Sorry about everything. I will be back in just under a month making your life in checking votes a litle harder again, since you will have to double check every move I make, every breath I take *Breaks into song*
Man now I am a happy camper again! :)
So how are the challenges goin for y'all |

May I come with a suggestion to add to the rules?
"Don't vote on pictures you recognice from other users. If you recognice it, just ignore and move along"
That would explain things to people that don't follow the forums so closely (among other criminals *fuzzy yak*).

I sent your WPL voting history via PM. Other people will have to request theirs on their own. What you did wrong IS in the rules, has always been in the rules, and has been explained to you multiple times:
Users whose vote patterns suggest an intent to unfairly disrupt the system will have their votes ignored and may be suspended from site functions.
Read it again if you didn't understand it the first few times times. Showing your buddies your entries and voting them up is "intent to unfairly disrupt the system." This is what got Rikki into very public trouble just three months ago. Be thankful you didn't get the same sentence and stop complaining about it!

I recognize Librodo's shots quite often. Some are barely worth a 5 from me, while others are probably worth a 12 if the voting scale went that high. Same goes for Zoomdak, Kiwiness, Hopper, JoeyLawrence, Judi, and others. Lots of people recognize my shots, too, even though I try to use different subject, models and styles. We're not asking you to ignore those entries. We're asking you to judge the quality of the photo and how well it meets the topic, NOT who shot it.
Some of the Ninjas' entries totally deserved the 10s they got, but you won't find one person outside your team who felt that they ALL deserved higher scores than any other entry in the challenges. Vote on the photos and forget about who shot them.

And for you all too see
I honestly believe that all of those pictures are deserved 10's.
I know I am not allowed to vote on it now and I promise I will not do it again.
Maybe there is 1 picture in there that is not one of my favourite pictures. The bottom 10% picture that I gave a 10, I promise that I had no idea Hordur had it. I just loved that view of the boat that I could see from my living room window.
It must simply be like this. And I hope all of you calling me a criminal, cheater and stuff will look at these pictures and understand my point of view. I teamed up with my absolute favourite photographers. Of course I love their photos! As I say, can we all grouphug now? |

Yours was a nice post. A thoughtful one, but the only thing I would add is this: Life is black and white. It is only through our interpretations do "we" as people begin to see the grey. I don't know the banned members personally and must believe them at their word that they intentionally didn't cheat because what they did wasn't in the rules. But therein lies the real problem. If the masses and the administrators felt like the high votes was equivalent to cheating, then why do the banned (such a small few) find it to be an injustice? The average DPC'er certainly doesn't want to point and call "Cheat!". But the bigger problem is that the banned didn't feel in their heart they were hurting the natural voting process of random honest casting. You see? That's at least where I stand...

What does the comment "Your kung fu is weak" mean in relation to that photo? Just curious.
