I've not seen very many people in concert.

In college I went to a Three Dog Night concert that was in our gym.

Just in the past couple of years my husband and I have been to see The Moody Blues twice when they performed at Scandia Casino Outdoor Theatre in Albuquerque. They are great. I've liked them since I was 15 years old - a long, long time ago! |

Styx, Chicago, Supertramp, Jethro Tull, merson Lake and Palmer, The Carpenters, Bread, The 5th Dimension, Chuck Mangione, BB King, KC & The Sunshine Band, Harry Chapin, and probably a few more in the late 70's/early 80's that I was too stoned to remember...

My first ever concert was Faith No More, about one week before they called it quits for good.
Since then I've seen hundreds of bands, and worked for a while as a concert photographer to pay my way through University. That sort of took a downturn when I moved out of the city and away from all the live music venues.

But last week I was back in the city and went to see The Howling Bells one night and then took some photos for my sisters band the next night at the launch of their new single.

as I mentioned in the other thread my list would be in the hundreds so I will list some major high points.

early 80s I saw run DMC, grandmaster flash, whoudini and several other acts in one show.

I have seen nine inch nails over 20 times but once I had a photo pass. that was great, I also saw them with Bowie. amazing.

the first 3 lalapalozas were great especially 2 in dallas.

the roar tour was sevendust, bloodhound gang, reverend horton heat and iggy pop. amazing.

insane clown posse a few times those guys are incredible.

the best show ever was new years going into 1999. there is a band named Wolfpac that was formed by some former members of bloodhound gang( one of my favorite bands) we saw that they were performing in Pa. we borrowed a car (we were poor back then) and drove to erie Pa from tampa. we get to the address and it is a house. we were worried we had it wrong so I knocked and Evil Jared the bassist from the bloodhound gang answered the door. it was his house! Wolfpac played in the living room and it was unbelievable . then I was pushed into the pit by some chick. I noticed the same girl pushing people in over and over. so I di what any idiotic jerk would do. I pushed her in. oops turns out it was the girlfriend of one of the members of Wolfpac. so now I am really about to get my ass kicked and crystal is a little freaked out. I was able talk my way out of it and the band gave us all kinds of free stuff. it was freaking awesome. ok sorry it was so long.

 edit to add
I just remembered seeing mojo nixon once where he had a cordless guitar and played an entire song outside standing in the road with cars going around him.

I've been backstage to see Van Halen of the For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge tour.

While in DC/Balto, I did security for a bunch of concerts. I worked the pit for Disturbed/A Perfect Circle/Chevelle.

I worked the Pit for Godsmack.

I got screwed doing security for WHFestival...16 bands in 16 hours. I got stuck guarding tour buses...didn't get to see a single act. However, I got to hang out with Finch (they smoked 5 packs of my cigarettes, but were really cool...talked to them all day), The Used (hung out, they brought me beer and food from the artist caterer and gave me a T-Shirt) and Hed PE.

Forgot what tour it was, but it was a bunch of Alternative/Punk bands...Flogging Molly, Another Damn Disappointment, NOFX. A friend of mine and I went...we were both over 30 and the oldest people there. Had a friggin blast. There was actually a tent there for the parents, where they could hang out in the AC, get massages and whatever. Some of the parents were my age and I was out there in the mosh pits.
Won tickets for Lollapalooza in 2004 from WHFS...they told me I won the grand prize and would be on the stage for Janes Addiction. However, they ended up screwing me and I didn't get to. Bastards!!!!
