i believe there are others but I can't quite remember them all. But I think I should explain, I work for the company formerly known as Bill Graham Presents and now known as LiveNation. I work for several large amphitheaters in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mainly Sleep Train in Concord, Shoreline in Mountain View and Sleep Train in Marysville near Sacremento. I work on the production/stage crew setting up all there sound, lights and band equipment. All these shows pretty much involved me showing up around 8 in the morning to set up then coming back at night to break everything down till 2 or so in the morning. But I did get to see whatever I wanted to for free. :)

Wolfpac played in the living room and it was unbelievable . then I was pushed into the pit by some chick. I noticed the same girl pushing people in over and over. so I di what any idiotic jerk would do. I pushed her in. oops turns out it was the girlfriend of one of the members of Wolfpac. so now I am really about to get my ass kicked and crystal is a little freaked out. I was able talk my way out of it and the band gave us all kinds of free stuff. it was freaking awesome. ok sorry it was so long.

ok back on the right account. so Elvis, ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. are you SURE your not missing something else exciting about that night? Like the proposing to me part??? GEESH! What's a girl gotta do around here to have her proposal mean more than you being a girl pushing jerk? lol ;)

I was never a fan of theirs until a friend offered me a free ticket and I had nothing better to do. Man they put on a show!

Tons of concerts, don't remember all but the most unusual was Frank Zappa. Besides just being FZ, Sting came out for a couple of duets. They happened to meet that day in the hotel and after talking decided to do it at the show.

Top of the list is
Barbara Streisand in 1972. She's on tour again but I doubt I get to see her

James Taylor
Carole King
Quincy Jones

Credence Clearwater, B.B. King, Tony Joe White Met the these 3 at their concert in Denver and afterward at the Holiday Inn in north Denver, and the Radison Hotel (then Playboy club ) in Denver.

Canned Heat in forerunner to California Jam I & II

California Jam I
Rare Earth, Earth, Wind and Fire, Eagles,
Jackson Browne, Seals and Crofts, Black Oak Arkansas
Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Emerson Lake and Palmer

Foreigner
Simon and Garfunkel
Fleetwood Mac

and a long list of Broadway performers

I forgot about ABC's In Concert. Went to several of them. Thought it unusual that the fire marshal would appear on stage before the concert warning people not to smoke in the auditorium (Pantages Theater), but would tell them that if the went into the lobby they could smoke anything they desired.

Certainly looks possible. Looking at your list I'm seeing a few more bands I've seen. Did you live in Southern California in the 80's/90's?

Did anybody out there see JUST JINGER? Awesome South African band now busy with a world tour. These guys started off about 12 years back in Johannesburg playing at a Night Club in Joburg. Every Monday night was student night at this night club - Therefor, plenty of your typical student activities was done to the music of Just Jinger.
