I've never been to NYC (never been east of the Mississippi) but I have seen these two images here and love them for many reasons (I hope they don't mind me posting them):

Not exactly my best work ever, but this is a panorama I took on 12/10/1997 from the top of the Empire State Building on a foggy day.

Not my work, but of many, many people. This is a classic site..
You will be ''lost'' in it for hours.
Remember....Here is New York

That one with the bird silhouette on the WTC is truly haunting.

I'm a private pilot, I and have video going past Manhattan in August 2001 level with the tops of the towers. Wonder if Skip was up there when I went by? Never expected that footage to be historic only a month later.

Would folks be interested in seeing it? It'd be a bit of work to get it into the computer, and it'd have to wait a week or two until I get back home, but I'd be willing.

I'd have to have my 35mm stuff reprinted (not buying all the chemicals to do color stuff either).
I took so many from the Empire State Building back in about 1982, the setting for a most memoral event...

Yes, I know I'd like to see it and I'm sure most folks would like to as well. Thanks for the offer!
