Call me wierd. I love looking at the Brown Winners each week. What is your favorite brown winner? Let us see those horrid out of focus, pixelated, overly small, DNMC photos with really bad titles.

Occasionally, I'll drop down to do some "bottom fishing" among the DPC last place finishers. I'll intentionally attempt to place last in a competition.

This week, I somehow managed to score three "brown" winners three days in a row, including Fire II, PEAS, and Stupid, Stupid!. That may be a new DPC record for brown winners, but who would be so silly to keep track of such stupid, stupid! stats?!

By the way, has anyone else placed last (won the "Brown" Ribbon) in three consecutive challenges? Has anyone done this in three days in a row?

Here's my favorite brown of all time, a shot which still cracks me up, a photo for "Team Sport Action" titled "Competition", by Gabriel Bouvigne, scoring a remarkable 2.004 with 195 votes of 1. Note: if you don't see the photo, not to worry. It is all grey.

Although I I don't know if it is my favorite brown, I think charliebaker needs a very special award for this spectacular run of three brown ribbons with his last three entries.
"Blue Stupid" in the Stupid Stupid challenge 3.053
"Blue Fire" in the Fire challege 2.965
"Blue Peas" in the Peas challenge 2.429
Personally, I thought Blue Peas was the best but thats just me ;)

The lowest rated DPC photo of all time, "My Hand" by Hann, for "Light Source" challenge, with an amazing score of 1.809. Brilliant.

Hehee! Mine too!!

Which honestly, I'm proud of, because that was my first try at doing advanced editing and I was able to teach myself how to do a specific technique I had never tried before.

This is GeneralE's:

I think it's brilliant. As I said in the comments, not only is it stopped motion, it's stopped sound!

I was looking for that guy, didn't he enter similar shots in several challenges?

In the beverages challenge, Senoj's brilliant yesterday's milk

I like Sonoj's comments too:
"I forgot to drink it and it was still on my breakfast table this morning.... It still looked okay!"

Once the challenge finished:
"Thanks for all your wonderful comments. I threw the milk away now."

And ScottK's comment:
"Look deeper, Eschelar. This is art. Try squinting - I think that helps."
