Woohoo! Another brown!

Welcome to the highly coveted Brown club :)

The only way out of here is up, like TomFoolery said, and dont be hard on yourself.

'T'is an honor to be bestowed a brown. How else can you measure your worth when you take the blue eventually?'

:p

Well you have already done something that some others have strived to do but have failed...you have won a brown ribbon...and now you are in the club...I have won the brown ribbon myself...take pride in it...the only place to go now is up...and that's my best pep-talk I can muster right now...so deal with it...but really you'll be fine...Welcome to DPC

a little too abstract to work with the challenge imo.

What exactly is this meant to be? I can't see any connection with indulgence, I can only assume that you want to get the brown ribbon and I'm only too happy to help.

If only a little bit of this shot was in focus, would have made a huge difference. I sense some very good colours here, but it's to out of focus for me.

This is an absolutely lovely abstract image. Having said that, I can find nothing to do with indulgence here. Sorry .... dnmc.

a bit too blur, which I'm sure you have tons of comments telling you that!

I have no idea what I'm looking at. Is the act of grabbing something indulgence?

I see a neckline and a chin on the left, out of focus, but that's about it. I give up, what is it?

Sorry, not sure what this is a blurry image of or how it depicts indulgence.

too blurry to make out the subject.

Hmmm, I've stared at this one for over a minute now and I'm just not seeing it. I see the neck and necklace, but I can't figure out the rest of it. It's still a pretty darn cool shot regardless of what the subject is.

I have no idea what this is, and would venture to guess that it might just win the brown ribbon.

Other than possibly a finger and fingernail, I'm not sure what this is.

maybe it's just me, but I cant tell what this is. way out of focus and blurry

I'm having trouble working out what it is... my best guess is something dangling down from the back of a woman's waist - something to grab? I'll be intrigued to find out what it is afterwards.

Anyway, it's an interesting abstract image! However it looks like you've done a little too much adjustment of the levels or curves, because I can see obvious colour banding in several parts, particular the light pinkish patch in the bottom-centre of the frame (that I interpreted as a woman's inside thigh).

I'm sorry, but I don't see how you could think this would be a succesful picture. It is not clear what you are photographing, what it is you want to show and how this relates to the challenge. I'm not even talking about the technical aspects of this shot (out of focus, blurry and muted colors), as I assume this is what you were going for.

Still can't work out the subject matter but it works for me as piece of art...8

I'm a fan of abstracts but I'm missing how this connects to the challenge.

everything is completely out of focus, i dont know what that is.
