FYI, I am a bag head. But which one am I? |
Is that what that brown thing is instead of a name? If it is and you are the one on my image, "THANK YOU!" |

5.2ish. Ironically, I think my image is suffering from looking desolate. :P

I'm hovering around 5.4ish, which is actually giving me some confidence despite it being in the sucky range.
And a big thank you to the two who have commented so far! The comments are constructive, and I appreciate the guidance and advice very much. :-D
The first comment I received was from the photographer of my current desktop wallpaper pic, so I feel very honoured that he took the time to comment on my pic and advise me as to what is wrong with it. :-)

I'm finally getting around to making some comments. I voted last night, and can only catch snippets of time as I've got a full-on week. Hopefully I'll get to comment on all the pics before deadline.
Just a thought, but I wonder that if more of the people who complain about the lack of comments would make more comments, they might actually help solve the problem of the lack of comments. :-D
;-)

What would help most, I think, is if more of the people who complain about the content of comments would make less complaints! Not referring to ANYONE specifically, but calling someone names because they see your photo through their own eyes instead of yours tends to make folks keep their opinions to themselves, except through their scoring..... |

You can say my name.. its cool.. I did it. Not gonna run from it. Seein on how the mods deleted the orginal post, but left the quoted posts so you can still see it... yeah.. what a joke. Whats the point of deleteing the post if you still allow it to be seen? Not very fair.
And yeah.. I still don't agree at all with what the commentors 'opinion' is about my image. I find the comment in my opinion to be of a trollish nature. Granted I went overboard by posting a bad comment on a bad comment.
I was messaged when the post I made was deleted, and I replied asking the qoutes to be deleted as well. Yet, they have not. It seems there isn't a constant fairness on this site.
I have been doing very well with comments of my images. except this one here... just RRHHRHRRHRHRHRHRR...
anyway... whatever

Some people can not take critisim for he sake of improving. Everybody wants to be called a genius, nobody wants to be called imperfect.
However the reaction, it is up to the artists art to tell the story so the viewer can see what is on the artists mind.
If the artist has to point out to the viewer what they are looking at, then the visual is lost to interpretation.

Ohh, I can take critisim fine, as long as it is coherent. And not contradictive to ones self.... yet, I guess even the critisim/comment is subjective. whites too white, blacks to black, the model looks like they are doing something else..... I don't understand. Because, if you got what the subject was doing, why even say it could be persieved as something else? anyway... its frustraiting, when I take myself back into the box, make it clear as day where several several people understand what I was saying... and this /commentor/ comes along with the 'opinion' of mederocratice.
My images never fair well anyway. so what should I worry about?

Hey, I didn't mean to start a fight! It was only a friendly suggestion, as it appears than many people haven't recieved comments, or have only received one or two comments. I know that the two comments I have received haven't been from people who are expressing disappointment in not recieving comments. So it struck me that the best way to receive comments all round, is to make comments all round.
As to one nasty, unconstructive comment among many good ones, why worry about it? The greatest artists throughout history still got one or two hecklers, but does that make them less brilliant to the many who love and admire their work? Don't be so hard on yourself - love what you do!

i'm happy with the score. i'm expecting it to drop (they always do...), but that's among my best. but what counts even more is a comment from someone who gets it, and has gone through it. thank you very much indeed.
