Just finished voting, some great shots. I have a question, I saw alot of shoots in landscape crop ? It seemed simple to me, portrait crop stands for portrait image ? Didn't down score any one for it, since so many used a landscape crop, I figured I was off base. Any help to clarify it for me ?.........Nice job everyone....ace |

Ummm - Have you ever heard of a guy by the nickname of librodo? Big portrait kind of shooter. Many, many ribbons on this site. Majority of his 'Portrait' shot's are in landscape orientation. Works quite well actually.
p.s. - same subject was discussed earlier in this thread I believe. |

Not all portraits are shot in portrait mode and not all landscapes are shot in landscape mode.
Consider that these 2nd and 3rd place ribbon winners in landscape challenges were submitted in portrait orientation.
