I am hoping for the rise back up, score has dropped a bit recently, but still my best yet. Thanks. :)

WOW, wish I had a dropped score like THAT! GOOD GOING Sunshine86!! My best to you!!

The usual course of scoring for my entries is to start at some very high but very unlikely number on the first night and then drop overnight to a low which is found within the first 12-24 hours. It then slowly climbs back to some point inbetween.

It has been a while since I have had a shot like mine in EP which started high (7.45 at between 10-20 votes) found a plateau in the 12-24 hour period (6.65) and then has done nothing but drop since (6.35). Odd.

Same general pattern here. Can't let kiwiness know my score though.

Same situation here. It started off VERY high, plateaued at 75 votes, very high but not as high as it started, hung in nicely until early this morning, then dropped a lot today. It's still high, I'm still happy, but I've never seen one behave quite like this before.

Same here... usually around 100 votes it settles in and does a creep back up a bit... but not this time.

I'm beginning to think the same. I am still steady at a 5.8. It's not moving. I am keeping the hope alive, but with Self Portrait going in tomorrow, and the attention to the latest exclusives that just went in, I'm afraid that EP is probably going to remain pretty stagnant for most of the week. If there are any changes, it will most likely not occur till the weekend at best. :(

doh! was a seven (never seen before) after 17 votes, now at 5.9***, this shot must be a 6+!!!

My score has dropped .22 today alone... it's kind of insane.

I'm still grinning about "Doo Doo Heads."

I like poopie heads myself :)

I just don't get this. My silly little still life is rising and my great (or what I think is great :/) EP is dropping??? I'm at a 5.7 now folks.

DrArchoo, I don't think there is any reason for me to believe I will catch up to you now. I think you did outwit and outlast me and Idnic this round, BUT, LOOK OUT for the self portrait though, and I have an AWESOME idea for success which will be hopefully in by tomorrow. I just picked up my props and I am stoked! (are people still using the word stoked? Or is it "sick" or "bad"? LOL....)

Sure, "stoked" is totally tubular!

Some really nice work in this challenge, folks. Was a pleasure to peruse and vote on this one.

Doc-I pointed out the same thing earlier and my guess/assumption is that people are way, way pissed off by the DNMC's accompanied by low scores and are voting vengefully (sp?)...or Cindi(idnic's) single anti "doo doo head" vote is having some profound effect.

I am a little confused here... (shock - shock) As I click on my update button (yes I am hooked) it shows at 135 that I my submission went from 5.7761 at 134 votes to 5.8000 at 135 votes...... sweet.. then when I clicked it (again) it reads 135 votes - score 5.7926 - scratching my head here... how can the score change if the vote doesn't? (and I don't mind one bit the tiny change, just leaves me a tad confused (not an unusual state for me)

Many voters will go back and adjust a score they've already cast. Thus, no new votes, but a change in your average

Thank you very much for the explanation.. I thought maybe we had 'invisible' trolls lol!

I just had a wonderful comment that said they gave me a 10 and I should be at least in the top 10 come end of challenge. THANK YOU COMMENTOR!!

Most comments of all 15 or so of them are loving my shot. Two feel that it lacks in one way or another. Yet, I have dropped from a 6.7 to a 5.7 now, and see no way of making top 10 other than somewhere in the top 10 pages come challenge end :)

There is still time, but I would need one HECK of a lot of bump ups and maybe all 10 votes from now till Sunday to get back up there. :(

I have 39 comments so far, all very positive. This is a record for me.

Not many votes in the last 24 hours. I think the open challenges are getting the attention now. Some scary stuff out there in the Still Life challenge. Some really good stuff too.

My score has been holding steady. I don't want to post it for fear it will be jinxed. Plus I can feel Kiwiness out there ready to squash me like a grape!

Sunday is my birthday. I think a lovely little ribbon would be a fine birthday present! ;-)

Looks like I'm getting back into some stronger territory....and all those punk-a$$ voters are done spreading their joy. Dare I dream for a 6.5...6.6 ???

UGHH, I'm still sitting at a 5.8 ! Been sitting there for 3 days.

Common guys! Don't forget about voting other challenges just because new ones have been put in the roster. Let's get that bumping up going and vote! :)
