I love to shoot sports. I have a ton of sportscar racing shots and I just got a bunch of recent ones of the Amgen Tour of California bike race. I've also got some surfing ones, but I need to find them and upload some for you to see. Here are a couple of my better ones:

I am off to the A1 GP race this coming weekend at Laguna Seca, so I will have more auto racing ones soon.

Perfect timing. I just got done shooting the America East Men's Basketball semifinals here at Binghamton University. Here's the link to the collection in my portfolio.

And a few of the highlights from the collection:

A few from earlier in the year, during regular season games:

I'm insanely jealous you were at the Amgen Tour! Very nice! I'd be willing to see a few more of those.

How about the Tour de New Braunfels (TX)? :-) Local race.

Nice shot!

I wouldn't have missed the AToC! In fact, I took 2 days off work to go see it. I watched various portions on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. The best news is that locals, especially non-cyclists seem really excited about it. The local governments are reporting big money brought in by it. All of this bodes really well for it to be even more successful in the future.

I have more shots, just need to convert them from RAW and do a little clean up and I will post more.

I shoot skiing all the time, these were taken at the US Freeskiing Open Halfpipe competition, the Night shots were taken at the Big Air comp later that evening. Plently more ski pictures can be found here.

Here is a rugby shot of some guys in Granada in the Carribean. This was taken about 6 weeks after Hurrican Ivan tore through there. I also got some amazing shots of that church on the hill with the roof ripped off.

LOL - This is actualy Cricket and not rugby - Never played cricket on cement before - usualy I dive all over the field, but playing like this - I think I will stay on my feet.

And does this count for Fishing?

Very Nice - Pity about the South African Batsmen getting bowled like that. What did you think of yesterdays game in Durban - Very dissapointing.

One from during the week.

Got a bit luck here too. Is luck a common factor with sports photography?

Very Nice looking lady - I think to do sport photography, you must know the sport. Look at the cricket photos for instance. To get a shot like that (where Smith got bowled) you must have perfect timing. The ball travles at anything above 120km/h (guys like shuab Aktar bowles at 150km/H plus).

To those of you that don't know this sport - IT IS HARD AND VERY PHYSICAL and the Aussies are the best in the world with this sport.

Love it - Your son Down Syndrome? These are very special kids. I have never met any human being that gives so much unconditional love and devotion as a Down Syndrome person.

No Bouvier's were harmed in the making of these images... The same can't exactly be said about the guy playing bad guy. ;D

In case you didn't notice, I like to shoot fast cars whenever I get the chance. It is a fun challenge to get them captured.
