What a fabulous shot. You should really keep up the work with these macro shots. I love the array of colors and lines in this shot. |

I sure love the colors here. And the softness of the water contrasting with the diagonal lines of the bridge are SOOOO great!

I should just post all your shots in here David!
It's not possible to pick just one. |

Wow! I could pick anything from your portfolio Gringo. They're all great shots. I picked this one because it made me laugh.
I've also been in this exact situation too many times to count, and it's much more enjoyable to look at someone else doing it. :)

Thanks Saj. It was the kit lens. It was warped with the PP. This was from the circles thread a while ago. The steps were:
1) Make a square selection
2) Filter, Distort, Polar coordinates - choose "Polar to Rectangular"
3) Edit, Transform, Rotate 180 degrees
4) Apply same filter as before except choose "Rectangular to Polar"
5) Crop picture |

Well, it's almost two years in the portfolio, but it's one I haven't seen - very nice. Now, a tulip is a bulb plant - the bulb being the part underground - but this looks kind of like a light bulb. ;-) |

I like this shot a lot. The cool colors in the sky compliment the warm tones of the stone structure and foreground nicely. The centered composition gives the structure a nice sense of power and grandness, and also keeps the well on the right in the shot.
