graphicfunk is about to hit 10000 comments made, probably during the current challenges.

I fantastic effort from a great guy, well done Daniel.

I definitely agree! ...but I heard there was a bug in the stats - like a Y2k thing - when the comments hits 10k, all your ribbons disappear and your head falls off.

That's a remarkable stat. I'm truly impressed by Daniel's day-in, day-out willingness to comment, always constructively, on image after image after image. With me it comes in fits and spurts. I'd have to spurt for about 8,000 more comments to reach his level, LOL. And I feel like I'm a pretty frequent commenter, all in all :-)

So, Daniel, job well done and my hat's off to you.

Robt.

Sometimes you don't have to look who wrote something to know who wrote it. Definitely a "kpriest" kind of thing to say...

When I think of DPC, I immediately think of graphicfunk! Since DAY 1, he has been an inspiration to me, an encouraging voice, a consistent presence, and an all around good guy. Kudos to one of the best guys around these here parts! :-D WTG DAN!

10k is impressive, but what I find more impressive is his batting average. Over 8k of them were 'helpful'!

And what so impressive at 10,000 comments he still has a helpful rate of over 80%. If you look at his comments you can see why. When he makes a comment it's not usually a couple of words. He tries to give detail.

Hat's off to you Daniel.

I am humbled. I do thank you warmly. I have never had the pleasure to know such wonderful people, even if only by your images and comments. This sort of makes my day because I have been very busy and even though I have cross the 10,000 mark, I still feel I am not doing enough to offer the tiny encouragement which we all need to adjust our photographic and artistic compass. And what lovely talent lies within DPC. I thank you again.

Congraulations Daniel you are a true inspiration.

I don't know if anyone else on the site has hit 10000 but it is such a fantastic achievement.
