OH man! I know how you feel Alan, I gotta stop smoking!

Can I recycle my Ansel for this one? LOL...

If I were a smoker, at least I'd have something to blame this on! :) This has just been miserable... now it's almost 4:00 a.m. Ugh! At least I'm getting my voting done a little early this time :) I have a doctor appointment at noon, and with my luck I'll wind up sleeping through it once I finally nod off...

Wow! There are 2 submissions already (in 4 hours - and the bodies haven't even cooled down yet)!

What are these? Studio-shot cemeteries? Or the overseas friends took a jump-start this morning?

This is a real gravestone in Coober Pedy, an opal mining town near central Australia. In case you can't make it out, the gravestone is a keg of beer:)

This will require a very good photo.

Don't worry, I'll bring my hatchet. :)

what cemetary did you want to meet at? midnight?

midnight sounds like a good time!

I don't know if a hatchet would do any good, I was thinking of holy water

Wooden stakes!

I guess I have to retake a few of mine past pictures.

I'm already starting to have ideas, from composition to editing. If everything goes as my head sees it now, it'll be a good challenge.

It'll be pretty interesting to scout out the location though, especially since I'd rather shoot this in moonlight. Better hire a body guard.

We'll have to get creative here in LA, not too many old traditional cemeteries here.

Ditto. I have some good ideas, but I don't think I'd want to do well with a depressing photo, then have to look at it for a while.

Look at her porfolio.

I think this will be a fun and interesting challenge. I love the Gothic look and what better way than a cemetery. I think there will be a lot of good photos.

This photo by WETLAND is one of the best cemetary photos I have seen on DPC.

My mom once performed in a commercial for Forest Lawn. You'd think with their reputation (and the Tom Paxton song) that they wouldn't need to buy any publicity ...

I might stay here in Staten Island for this one. There are lots of famous people buried here. I can also go to Manhattan, there are a zillion celebrities buried there. Should I take a Tombstone shot of a famous person? or should I stay in the box and shoot a Cemetary/Landscape photo???

You've got that great, immense cemetery you can shoot with the NYC skyline in the back, right? Seems to me that's a natural for a ribbon if you do it right...

I have to say that I've found this one to be a little disturbing...
