Don't think I will be able to make it this time, still suffering and could get call from hospital during the week.
Better take me and mate off the list, Kavey. Hopefully will be able to make the next one. If things don't change, we may still get there and just meet up with you after lunch. But don't hold your breath :)
Catch up with you all sometime in the future. Enjoy yourselves.

I often meet friends for dinner in central London after work - if you're in town and want to do that sometime when you're feeling better, do let me know.
And we'll look forward to seeing you at the next GTG!
If you do think you might come ask me for my mobile number so you can find us as we don't yet have any firm plans for where we'll go after lunch...

I'm still down for being there, although the company want me to work. If I can screw a good bonus out of them, then I'll probably have to go to work, just to show willing. This leaves me both hoping for a good bonus and hoping for a poor bonus at the same time.

Just found the thread. What a shame I probably would have come (only down the line in Oxford), but have arrangements that I can't get out of! Blimey that would have been cool to put faces to so many familiar names. Oh well definately next time.

I'd suggest anyone who thinks they may not make the meeting at BROWNS PM me during the week to get my mobile phone number so can find out where we're at after that.
Would need to remember we might be on the tube trains in which case no signal for a bit... and try again after a bit.

Ok, so since I'll be working tonight and the night after and then sleeping during today, I just packed my backpack. I have a Lowepro Compu Trekker. It's is a big pack and I'm a small person. It's not heavy, it just looks HUGE on me, specially with the tripod attached. I hope I'm not the only one with such a big bag, I don't wanna look like a dork, more than I already do anyway. So, out of curiousity, what bag will you be carrying and are you bringing a tripod or not?
