Fair enough, maybe next time.
If things change, drop me a line via email and we'll sort out where to meet!

Yup, bod-with is still planning on scrounging a ride : )

Just trying to sort out the hotel (yeah I know, shoulda done it months ago). Thinking of staying central now - I'll be watching the Australian Grand Prix 3am-5am so may as well stumble outside for the sunrise.

Do I go for the hotel overlooking St.Pauls, the one just up the road from London Bridge, or the one which is £8 cheaper than the other 2 but lastminute won't tell me where it is (apart from 0.76 miles from Tower Bridge/0.25 from Fenchurch St).

Er... dunno.
Glad you're finally getting your arse in gear though.
BTW could you email me back the list of hotel ideas I sent as I forgot to keep a copy and someone else asked me for that info too...

Bobster, I'm assuming you and your lady are still staying in my spare room?

Skip, you're staying with me after the weekend aren't you?

Chiqui, have you decided yet whether you're going for my air mattress on a floor somewhere or in a hotel in town?

Anyone else staying at my place that I should be reminded about?

On it's way. I did send it to somebody (can't remember who) a few weeks ago.

but, i do have a couple questions, if someone would be so kind

1) how long does it take to get from central london to stonehenge?

2) how long does it take to get from central london to dover?

thanks!

In a hire car 2 hours should do it easily for both

by train its a little quicker, with a taxi ride at the end to get to Stonehenge

As an aside Stonehenge is fenced off so you can't actually get right upto it. When I was a kid this was not the case and we could touch it and walk around the stones...

Yep, if that's still okay.
For a moment, it was looking as if I might have to drive down on the Friday morning to shoot a technical run through for a new west end show(!), but it's been postponed so I can't tie it in with the DPC meet unfortunately. It'll still be going ahead later, but I won't be able to show off about it with you lot! :-(
See you all soon,
Bob :-)

They do, but they don't want to get them dirty in the snow.

Hotel is booked now - turns out the £8 cheaper one was the same hotel as the one near Tower Bridge that I was considering! Bargain : )

June ... this also means that we'll certainly be staying in the centre for some night shooting, and like Manic I'll offer the use of my tripod too if you decide not to bring yours.

No, no, no - the 4x4s (Mum Trucks or Chelsea Tractors as they are now known) are only used for ferrying Tarquin and Felicity the 75m to school and then onto the beauty salon. After which they are parked at a jaunty angle on a double yellow until hubbie picks it up later from the car pound.
