| Today was an awesome day photographically for me. I went to go pick up my photos I had entered into a nature contest last month. One of the there had placed first. When I went today and picked it up it had the "People's Choice" ribbon on it as well. During the time the display was up people voted on their favorites from the show and that was the award I had won. I totally didn't expect it. Then tonight I had my Camera Club meeting and every other month they have a competition. It was my first month having anything in because I'm a new member in the club. I was placed in the "Intermediate" Category because I hadn't taken photo's that long and the "Master" said my photos were too good for the "Novice". Anyway, I ended up with an Honorable Mention for my "Light of Inspiration", 2nd for my photo called "The Link" and 2 firsts for my "Standing in Line" and a less tight of a crop of my "So that We May be Free" shot. I also got best of show for my "Standing in Line" It was awesome, my hands were shaking when I had to hang my picture back up. It was a cool feeling and I'm still stoked about it. I just wanted to share and say THANK YOU DPCHALLENGE!! |

Way to go Jubei! Judging from your entries here, you've got a wonderful eye for photography so all the alcolades are well deserved! Keep up the good work!

| It kind of brought tears to my eye to see the nice responses here. I went to a movie this afternoon while my wife went to a work meeting. When I got home I found out she had been laid off. We're figuring out what we're going to do, but I just got on here to look around and saw these responses and it made me feel better. Thank you |

| Jeremy, I'm so sorry to hear the news about your wife. We know that things always work out but it is the hard times until then that we don't need. You know, I spent my first 35 years in Utah and your beautiful photography really makes me homesick. I adore that one from Mill Creek (or as my dad would say, Mill Crick). |
