we are drawn to them (that whole window to the soul thing, i guess)
here are some from dpc's vaults that we've been enamored with
  
 
when you think about it, photos of eyes are so captivating. they can change your whole perspective.
then again, i guess words might be important, too. if only to explain.

Good collections (both in the thumbnails and on the link).
Not sure if I completely agree with the author's statement that looking at their eyes will change your perspective, but maybe it did for him (or her)
I think eyes are near the top of things our brain (and probably the brain of every animal with a brain) jumps to when we see them. Along with dangerous things, where paying attention will keep us alive.
So it would make sense that photos featuring strong eye contact would be appreciated. |

What I notice is that some are looking out of their eyes. Some are just using their eyes to see with.
