I would not have scored it as high. I like the original. |

I still like the one you submitted, I gave it a 9.
I don't like the tilt in #7 simply because it is somewhat against gravity :)
I looked at the other shots, they are very good. But I think you made the right choice with your submission.
Keep it up :) |

Thanks Riggs. Also for your really nice comment post voting.
I was very pleased with teh challenge shot as well as my placing. You know how you struggle to choose from shots that you work on & then close your eyes & pick one hoping for th best? Well, I didn't do that but I wished I could have entered more than one since there were several that I liked.

Your outtakes are beautiful, Rooster...but I have to agree that the one you submitted was the right one. I gave it an 8 and thought it was simply stunning. The pose is tasteful and very emotive, and the tones are gorgeous. Well done; surprised you didn't rank a bit higher, but there was some pretty tough competition. Well done! ;o)

Like the black and white close up but still prefer your original entry.
Regarding the black and white, I don't like that soft focus effect.
Regarding the rework of your entry, I prefer the rotation but not the stronger colouring.
From your outtakes I like the one called 2.jpg with the trees behind, but still not as much as the one you entered.

The legs and arms on the "kissy" shots are glorious - how about making a cropped close up, sort of abstract - could be very exciting. |

sounds interesting but I'm not sure I get the abstract part. Wanna give it a whirl for me? I'm kinda more visual than anything else.
