*IF* we make it, we could probly pick up the bum ;) BUt you'd have to like kids cuz you'd be riding in the back with 3 of em...LOL
No promises.....renovations could begin at ANY MOMENT. Last word from the builder was "less than 2 weeks". Of course I know that doesn't mean a damn thing. ;)
I'll ask hubby about possible meeting spots.

| How about meeting at the Sea Lions? It's centrally located. I would suggest a second meeting spot (maybe Congo at 2:00?) for late-comers. |

The dancing Crane cafe. Just south of the sea lions. We can all sit and chill, have a drink and wait for everyone to show. How's that sound to everyone?
So can we say the cafe at noon? I'll bring a sign of sorts.
Hey how are we going to recognize each other. So many people there will have cameras. We need to wear something to identify DCPers. Maybe a small sign would also do.

I'm in Brooklyn, but I'm so new here...maybe wait till I gets ta know y'all... :)
And the Brooklyn Bridge-Brooklyn Heights-Park Slope-Prospect Park route is one of my faves...if y'all do a winter meet I'd love to tag along!

Wow, youse guys are so friendly!!
I'd LOVE to come, especially to the Bronx Zoo (I haven't been since I was a tot!) but I've got class on Saturdays!!! Evil evil student/workerbee life!
I'm heading out tomorrow (holiday, no school, yeah!!) for a whole lovely day of photo-ing! I've got to figure out some sort of wacky food, too...I'm probably going to head to the san genaro festival in little italy... I'm sure I can find something wacky there :)
Anyway, I'll catch you NYCers on the next trip! I'm happy to know this stuff is happening out there somewhere...have fun and don't feed the tourists!!

I'm definitely coming to the Zoo now, well...not right now, Oct 2 now.
I'm adding Kdenkers to the list. She's a new member. I recruited her. I take full blame. we'll be by the Dancing Crane at 12:00 (high noon).

| Does anyone know if backpacks are allowed at the Bronx Zoo? I'd like to bring more than the one lens that'll fit in my small bag, but some places won't allow large bags due to security concerns. |
