Another bunch I took in Australia. The gallery link.

Here's a CANARY, in case nobody has posted one yet.

Ring-Necked Dove (Africa), or Eurasian collared dove as per hahn23's recent entry.

Cassowary

Not sure. Possibly a colour mutation or a female.

Bourke's parrot

Very rainy day here but these three showed up at the feeders. Not really happy with these shots but thought I would post anyway.

I believe this is a female Mockingbird - if so she looks kinda preggers to me.

Summer Tanager - I looked out the window and saw what I thought was a cardinal on the suet - I thought that was kinda strange until I noticed the beak and said that's' no cardinal.

I believe this is a female Nuthatch - I've tried to get a good shot of her about 50 times - this is the best I ever been able to shoot.

....Ring-necked Duck, Aythya collaris.
Migrating through. First time I've seen or photographed this duck.

....American Three-toed Woodpecker, female, Picoides dorsalis.

This is the female. The male has a yellow cap. Uncommon to rare in spruce forests. I'm very happy to have captured this image. I'll see the male eventually.

**NOT ENTERING THESE**

We have a great group of bird lovers here, and I just wanted to show off a few recent captures I really liked....and one random squirrel...lol...

This coot looked so sad in the moment, so I called this "Early In The Mourning"

Forster's tern, just missing his lunch

Common mallard, but posing very nicely for me

Mama wood duck, watching out for her babies (not in pic)

A closeup of the great egret I posted above....just because I found his green eye patch so fascinating and beautiful

Brown pelican in non-breeding plummage...these were flying by sooooo close at South Carlsbad State Beach! Only regret was the overcast skies.

Brown pelican I believe molting from breeding to non-breeding plummage. This one was so close that I only cropped for the wallpaper dimensions.

Squirrel!!
