 These are the male and female belted kingfisher. I was so far away but better than nothing!

I saw them last time I was there, but didn't manage to get a photo. Nice of the pair.

Oh my! It's still a unique sighting. Must be mating season to see them perched together. I would guess their nest is very close to this location.
